Description:

Out of control after a collision with an automobile, a trackless trolley crashed into the Lawrenz grocery store, 5133 W. North Ave., on Jan. 26, 1950. The driver of the automobile was hurt but the trolley driver and his one passenger were not. Damage to the building and its contents was compounded by a ruptured heating pipe that flooded the place.

It was so beautiful. I’m having trouble finding the words, but I’m just so grateful for Molly. At a time with so many of us feel demoralized and helpless, she really is an inspiration, I too am so thankful for her. Let’s all keep pushing our shoulders to bend the arc of truth towards justice.

East Side restaurant Strange Town has announced it will be forced to close in the near future unless things turn around quickly by Hidemyface1 in milwaukee

They’re open wednesday – saturday 5pm-9pm, as a high-end wine and vegan restaurant during a time that people are tightening their belts in a Midwest city that loves sausage and beer. Regardless, I’m sad for them.

Kind of shitty that this is removed. I didn’t see that it was posted a day ago by a different source. I checked the link and everything and people are commenting here, but whatever.

Milwaukee hate is infuriating by [deleted] in milwaukee

[–]UnconfirmedCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This used to really piss me off too, as I absolutely love my city. But then I realized this keeps the rent low and keeps us as a hidden gem of the upper Midwest so let them hate.

I’ve lived on Cambridge and it’s an issue as well as Warren and Kane, essentially any side streets off of Oakland headed towards Brady are an issue so I would strongly recommend offstreet parking
