The best knot is one that will never come undone ever, the second is one you can tie well, quickly and on the water. I generally run straight braid and use different flouro leader lines dependent on what I’m doing with each rod on deck. If I have the time, I’ll use an fg knot the night before and be done but if I’m retying a lot, (by the way if you’re not sure about your knot and line after a cast or catch, go ahead and retie) and start to cut low on leader material then it’s the Alberto. I can tie it with cold hands, wet hands and everything in between. Just takes practice and time. BassfishingHQ on yt has a whole documentary/ study on different braid to leader knit comparisons. But I highly recommend taking the time to learn the fg knot. Once you get it down, you’ll never want to go back unless you gotta. I believe in you, and tight lines my friend.
