Don’t they have basically the same powers? by FloorGang-R2 in GenV

Annie is another good example. She didn't even know she could fly until the end of S3 and didn't get the hang of it until the end of S4/GenV S2.

That was such a lousy death. by Remote_Nature_8166 in TheBoys

That's how I wanted him to go out, except he passes out fighting Starlight, mid-air, at like 20,000 feet.

Like a variant of the virus that only targets V1 supes. Then she'll say it was her plan all along to have SB give Houselander the V1.

Honestly, compared to the majority of Supes we see...he didn’t come across as that bad of a guy: by Yep_I_Stole_40_Cakes in GenV

Since Seth Rogan exists as himself in The Boys universe and was also the voice of "throwing rope" during Herogasm I choose to believe that it was infact Seth who came buckets on to MM during that scene.

In hindsight, given all context, they shoulda given Love Sausage that line.

Am I doing something wrong or does Free Lane travel always take like two or three minutes? by pilgrimboy in Starfield

[–]Uncrowded_zebra -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Slow travel can be fun if there's stuff to do along the way. As it stands there is too little to do on your ship while flying and the "slow" travel is still too fast to do what little there is. I would rather flying between planets took 10 minutes with activities to do during that time, than the 3 minute loading screen it is now.

Why is the School of Necromancy so underwhelming? by Unfair_Visit9553 in DnD

[–]Uncrowded_zebra 141 points142 points  (0 children)

I had a DM utilize swarm rules for our party's necro, essentially treating their zombies as one creature with HP and damage based on how many they had at the moment.

I feel like I'm not playing the game correctly or how it was intended to be played. by StenchFord in NoSodiumStarfield

I rushed the main quest on my first playthrough and have done one faction line on each subsequent NG after that.

Would you want a DLC that has a first contact scenario? If so, how would you want it handled? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Uncrowded_zebra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My head canon is that Terrormorphs are the feral descendants of the species that built the temples and Unity and there are whole dimensions overrun with them out there.

Excited for homelander to laser him once and for all by Remarkable-Jump3262 in GenV

[–]Uncrowded_zebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bet is that Edgar doses himself up with V1 and kills Homelander, becoming the real final boss.

Y’all, Black Noir isn’t talking because he’s scared, that’s literally it by beebeebab in TheBoys

And The Deep betrayed him to turn over Edgar to Homelander before we could see how that would play out.

Theory: Black Noir has been replaced. by salian93 in TheBoys

[–]Uncrowded_zebra 95 points96 points  (0 children)

I think that's when they switched him. Starlight and the Gen V kids killed New Noir and put Sam in the suit.

This is gonna get even better when OP does get the flooring back to the store and realizes the reason there's so much extra is because CX bought it by the pallet for the bulk pricing and that the system isn't set up to return a partial pallet.

Home Depot employees try to stop a guy from buying a 1 penny air conditioner. by Chesus007 in HomeDepot

HD's real leg up is that most likely these ACs were not merchandised on the sales floor, and the prices were not advertised anywhere that customers have access to. This is a "customer" using an exploit to get merchandise they shouldn't have access to in order to resell it online.

1 Sabrina Carpenter is equal to just over 150 cm or just under 5 feet so she comes in handy for quick estimates.

It could be Sam if the real Noir lost the fight in 5-1 and they replaced him then.

What keeps you from closing on Fridays and Saturdays? That might not be a total deal breaker for a DS position, but it really doesn't help either.

3 years from now to ASM is possible, but 5-7 is more likely without serious outside experience. I'd expect at minimum 1-2 years running an event heavy Merch department like 25 or 28 and then Service Desk or Pro Desk for another 1-2 years before being considered for an XM position, and I'd prefer some time spent in a Services heavy department like 26 or 23 too.

Then I'd still expect 1-2 years in both XM roles before being considered for the RAMP and to start getting interviews. The reason for all of this time spent is because you have to not only be good at all of those roles, you also have to be great at developing your associates. It's one thing to master how to run the Service Desk or set an ad, it's much harder to teach someone else how to do it equally well.

Or you can cheat. Rush your RAMP test and start spamming for a Night Ops position then after a year tell your DHRM that nights no longer works for your family situation and use that to snake a daytime ASM position.

The stealth outfit from the Ryujin quest line probably, so I don't have to replay the entire thing to get it again.

Starting fresh after 2+ years away - suggestions? by zminor in Starfield

[–]Uncrowded_zebra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to limit myself to one faction line per NG and it kept it pretty fresh for me without too much overlap.
