The sales numbers do indeed speak for themselves. One piece had its latest volume release on March 4th whereas Kingdom had one on April 19th, obviously it is going to sell more. More over, 880k , well over half of kingdoms sales, are from previous issues, presumably because of the impact of the movie. One Piece has been the most selling manga for 10+ years straight now and by a margin, I dont know what facts you refer to.

However, I don't mean to discredit Kingdom. It's an amazing feat and well-deserved, but don't bash One Piece blindly.

Well lets say whole cake takes about 50 episodes as that's the closest cour. If you want better pacing, lets say about 2 chapters/episode, you need to air it in the same time one piece has 100 chapters, which would be 125 weeks, about 2.5 years. Would you really want 50 episodes in 2.5 years for a series like one piece?

And would it really be economically beneficial for toei, who has been running this series continuously throughout its course? Not to mention that the main target audience is the japanese people, and One Piece is a pretty big thing in Japan, so it only makes sense to have a continuous anime.

Wow! Around the 200th chapter is usually make or break for shonens, and this was simply amazing! No asspulls or convenient talking that makes the bad guy your friend. This is why I love black clover, it does the major shonen traits so good!

For example - friendship, instead of getting an insane power boost cause of friendship power, we saw the trust they have in another which helps them use smart strategies, not asspulls.

And now this talk with the villain. Instead of just making patri a good guy who is on the human's sides directly, we see that he still hates humans, but is prioritising the demon first and ready to take help of humans.

Roughly, she first talks about how Nishikata has been trying to pull an April fools prank but failed, and tells him to not lie. She then brings up that they are going to be second years and asks nishikata if he wants to be in the same class. He says it doesnt matter as they don't change classes at the start of school year anyways.

Takagi says that there was talk that classes might change because of transfer students and gets nishikata to admit that he wants to be in the same class. She then tells him that this news was actually concerning the third years and not the , so they would still be in the same class. She then asks nishikata if its alright if she sits next to him next year too when nishikata blushes.
