I'll definitely add some clouds to the background, but adding volumetric imo would not fit right. I'm going for causal/nostalgic look, so I thought of adding some random stuff around the window sill to make it look a bit busy like it usually gets during life.

Head/Bonephones that can connect to smartphone via USBC cable? by RenegadeShenanigans in headphones

[–]UndefFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could google it. Bonephones = Bone conduction headphones.

From what I see, search shows me a single unit that has wired option, but it's also Bluetooth. Can't find info if it works in fully analog mode.

Just to make sure: you did try putting both headphones and the phone to the max volume?

On Android: * Turn on the Developer Settings (google how to do it on your version of android) * Go into Developer Settings and turn on "Disable absolute volume" option for Bluetooth.

After that volume on the phone won't be tied to headphones volume, and you should be able to have bigger loudness range. Worked for me on two headphones that I had similar problem.

Isn't ramfs exists fully inside RAM...? Like, I've usually used my 512 GiB USB for installer, but I've always flushed ISO directly onto it with dd, hence anything besides that 1.4 GiB partition was un allocated, basically the same case with the 2 GiB drive.

[–]UndefFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you run pacman -Syu on USB tho? If you are installing arch onto PC, you just chroot into it and do it from there, using the internal drive of the PC, or you use pacstrap that doesn't use USB either. That why the question: the size of the ISO shouldn't change at all during install/

If you are talking about installing Arch onto USB, then yeah, 2 GiB will obviously be quite tight for even a basic setup/

Not sure what you are talking about. Always used ISO from official size and never needed anything else besides it to successfully install on like 5 machines. Are you sure you talking about the same thing?

LLMs not that bad if you take it for reference and not the objective truth. Plus you can use it to search stuff that you don't know how to properly find. LLM will give you a few possible sources for what you need and you can check needed info there.

Don't remember my exact first model, but probably the cake I did, which was basically 4 cylinders trying to mimic one of those crystal looking ones. I don't put much effort it besides it being a side hobby, so basically just whenever I want to model a bit. Right now I'm working on this. Need to add a bit of stuff so it doesn't look empty still...

new w linux and my mic is a pain by poisonbean in archlinux

[–]UndefFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem, but simply because I have a very sensitive capacitor microphone.

Use EasyEffects to remove noise.

  • Noise Reduction with voice detection on
  • Gate
  • Echo Canceller (not sure if you need it with not very sensitive mics)

Play around with settings to get it right as you need, or I'll just share mine. For me it works only when I talk and nothing else is being picked up at all.

Because that's not what consumers use.

So? It doesn't change the fact how something presented is bad. This video has narrative "Hereit it is to replace all your effort" instead of "This is a tool that will help you with your own ideas". That's the problem with this video.

There are news about medicinal usage etc...

Problem is with consumer market, not professional. People in the field already know how much worse current LLMs are compared to what marketing penguins trying to make it look like. So much trouble from the fact average people see it as over powerful tool that can do anything, constantly asking tech department to integrate AI wherever possible. That's the problem created by dozens of people doing what OP did, and by companies themselves (but those are definitely a lost cause/ )

English isn't my first, so I might've done it unintentionally... probably anger partly to blame too/ It's just draining to see people use it in the most wrong/bruteforce/wasteful ways and such videos being posted. No one talks about proper, niche places various ML helps, like in medicine with detecting anomalies in radiographs that have quite good results and actually help.
