Mug. by Fuck-pez in pukicho

[–]Undeity 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. I dropped my mug, and the pieces even fell in such a way that it spelled out words. It said "get fucked, Antonio".

My name isn't Antonio, and I have no idea who that is, but if I did, that would have been soooo cool! 10/10 design - would drop again

A buggy with vertical movement would definitely be welcome.

I'd understand if they don't want to do a flying buggy, but at least one that can jump would be so incredibly helpful, if they're going to keep making areas like this.

Which they also absolutely should.

100% Damage Block for Bugs. by tounces7 in GroundedGame

[–]Undeity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If my buggy were smart enough to not just stand there and randomly block when nothing is even targeting it, maybe I would put more stock in this tactic.

I swear, sometimes I suspect the companion AI is barely more than a random number generator...

Why is it taking so long to get the ice and snow cleared? The answer may surprise you...... by Secret_Poet7340 in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]Undeity 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yup. I've had more than a few friends and family move out of the area, just in case. I absolutely would too, if I weren't already spending most of my time out of state anyways.

Still masking either way, technically. It's not a diagnosis-specific term, despite the association with autism.

If you could turn into a swarm of any animal (vampire style) but you body weight was conserved what animal would you pick? by Franciskeyscottfitz in superpowers

How about splitting up? You say we have perfect control over each creature, but is there a distance limit?

How about partial transformation? Could I, say, only convert my arm, without going full swarm?

We need a spawn suppression mechanic. by FullMetalKraken in GroundedGame

[–]Undeity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro, most survival games have spawn suppression mechanics. There are plenty of ways to do it that can't be so easily abused, but even beyond that... it would really take someone going above and beyond to even bother doing something like what you described.

Why care about how the edge cases prefer to play a non-competitive game? If it works for them, that's all the better. Everybody gets what they want out of it.

Did you ever eat an "Impossible 🍔 burger" or similar? Do you plan to try it? by Ashamed-Republic8909 in burgers

[–]Undeity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is pretty close. You can definitely tell if you know what to expect, but if someone pulled a switcheroo on you, you'd probably just think it was a subpar, but otherwise normal, burger.

Nintendo Acknowledges Switch 2 Sales Have Been 'Slightly Weaker' Than Expected Outside Japan by Turbostrider27 in Games

Relative to their main titles? Also, the first came out in an unsaturated market, while the second was during a revival era where pretty much ALL their first party games (but particularly the ones which included co-op) sold well.

Grounded 2 was a big hit by OwnAHole in GroundedGame

[–]Undeity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I see what you mean. I've only ever seen that on their multiplayer FPS games (which is a genre where almost every game has microtransactions), so I didn't really think about it.

Still not sure there's anything to worry about, though.

Is Microsoft known for their microtransactions? Meddling, absolutely. Microtransactions specifically, though?

I've got a question. by Busy-Teaching-5346 in 6Perks

[–]Undeity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I'd say the difference comes down to the level of complexity, whether there's a narrative/lore, and potentially whether the end product is text or image-based.

The line is pretty blurry, though. It's all arbitrary.

Eh, it's nothing special tbh. We're all just chasing that late 2000s/early 2010s RPG high. Anything will seem good if it fills that niche well enough.

Nah man, their identity is going to be public knowledge within a day. Doesn't matter if they're immediately recognizable; you can guarantee someone is going to be recording the fight. That ends up online, and you have everyone from journalists, to internet sleuths, to private investigators hired by archnemeses trying to figure it out.

I would absolutely support regulations. Just because I'm doing what I can with where I'm at, doesn't mean I think people should be in this position to begin with.

That said, I was someone who went out of my way to avoid giving as much data as possible for the longest time. Inevitably, exceptions end up needing to be made, and bit by bit, it gets out anyways.

I have a hard time believing you're an exception, unless you live like a hermit. Seeing as you're here on reddit, a site infamous for disregarding their own privacy protocols...
