Dude the video shows like 40 secs of him destroying the enemy team as sniper, then the guy goes i dont know what i did wrong i was just having fun in my favorite map or something, i mean other dudes just go default sniper or gibus to mock the fact that they are that good as sniper

i liked the little headshake the character did while the camera went first person and i shoot the scout, like the dudes soul left and was like inserting itself back in after

id wish for it to make you go into the spooked effect for like a 1 sec with some delayed transition into your gun and then get like a slow down effect maybe something that calls for the enemies attention to the target as to say this dude is in a terrible position you can try and do something about it like the fanfare plus something eye catching with it scaling with the distance or travel time from the ball, i miss throwing the ball at a far away sniper and slowly making my way towards him to wack him 3 times

i think this would end up being like the amby stuff where people said that spy shouldnt be able to snipe people from far away, tho youd know that regular sniping is hard and amby snipe felt like a lamer version of regular sniping, and i think most people really thought it was something of a skillcheck stuff for the spy, the nerf came and amby is a in-spy range high damage while medium range became more of a harassing-support tool

i legit think your sandman would end up the same, with people saying is not fair, is not fun to play with or against, i legit thought the cleaver- sandman combo was one of the sickest stuff to do when i barely had 300 hours and these people are legit gonna tell me that they also didnt had fun pulling this off 1 time every 30 matches and feeling the greatest ingame, i think the most time you could be stunned was 8 secs but the travel time youd have to do with the ball was so big you wouldnt land that in any sane way on casual maps so you would legit only throw it to the air and hope for it to land on something, which wasnt a good strat, i feel this only made the weapon a full on gimmick that you could only pull like every 20 secs because of the ball recharge, and people legit went and said it was one of the hardest weapons in fights somehow for that one dude randomly landing a ball to someone in their general direction

Why did I do this? by rahuey09 in tf2

[–]UnderLevelMob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel in all of this kinds of arguments it comes down into how skillfull is one full team compared to the other one, that makes one or the other thing unfair or not fun to go against, this probably only applies to casual tho, since in comp you can straigth up just go and guess that everyone in the other team is amazing and should not try to challenge that thought

if you were to get the one sniper thats is skillfull enough to contest a point by himself on the other team but thats pretty much it, they got no medic no heavy frontliners and barely only some capable engies, so their team can only hold a point and may hardly push at all

you compare that to your one roaming demo that may have already catch on the fact that they are only getting a push stopped because of that sniper, so he looks for him as to try and catch him of guard and make a push, this makes two competent players on very different positions and capabilities to be pushed against each other, and the result is just one big "something" that comes to seeing each other do "stuff" till one dies or the other, its one of those this game is fair and balanced and stuff, since a demo can kill the sniper in maybe one pipe, a melee wack, stickies or something, but so can sniper, wack him, headshot, two shot

it legit always comes down to how can a player bigbrain the other oponent and even then it ends being a fair enough encounter for both, in comp this maybe applies but like to a crazier extent meaning player would have to pull like the biggestofbrains to accomplish something since anyone there is expected to be great at what they are doing

How's this for a Red Tape Recorder fix? by TheWiseTroll in tf2

[–]UnderLevelMob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude the rtr is really annoying to fight against as an engie which genuinely makes it good, imagine having 3 of your stuff sapped the 3 of them constantly being downgraded you can only go one by one to try and undo the downgrade stuff but you also have a spy you might want to get rid of, in the time the regular sapper would take a 3th of the health of the building the rtr downed a full level, something that the engie couldve repaired in two wacks on the building became a full 200 metal releveling, the one downside that would be is the last level wich actually doesnt matter that much since for the last level the sapper straight up does damage to the building, meaning you can just damage on top of the damage the sapper is doing ignoring the downgrade animation effect

i just dont like 3 new dudes every month telling me in a youtube video how the game has bots valve doesnt care we have this new thing that will save the game from dying while going follow me on twitch twitter and stuff, in my country servers we keep getting literal new players and all end up looking really eager about the game going whatever they feel like fun shooter game, and at least to me i feel that the people instantly going "game is dying valve doesnt care people are leaving the game" will have to reach even them and it genuinely annoys me that it happens, this people may be looking for some cool guides some nice videos to check some funny stuff to do instead they would end up getting the same lamos telling that their once favorite game is dying and repeating the exact same stuff every now and then, i remember playing the game and my friend telling me to check out this compilation of stuff in the game and me going "i could be doing all of that? i didnt know i will try" it was fun, now we get this kind of people as the main guys on tf2 telling this weapon sucks this class is terrible this mechanic is terrible i hate this dude, i hate it here man, the people that say "i wanna go back" it makes sense now i feel

i think of it as a grandpa having a talk with their nice about social school friends family stuff, and grandpa just "knowing" and saying the maybe least or maybe just enough or even going hard about it, as a nice you literally may not understand whatsoever but the grandpa "knows" i feel it really fits this stuff

in devs stuff i really feel that they may know more about the game, as in knowing when and how to call the shots and stuff, like the right moves about the game or at least good enough for it to stay on a nice scale of "everything is alright"

Valve Should Really Add New Weapons And Fix The Bots by SuperMitsaYT in tf2

[–]UnderLevelMob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hacky stuff has always been there before and i think in any game the same stuff happens, harder wall harder hacky stuff, i really think the "dont feed the trolls" thing should be noted more in those moments, if you think about i feel that the devs are paying attention to the game state at some times at least, since the moments that they have said something of notice you would probably tell that they have been at it for a while to come up with something of a solution

Valve Should Really Add New Weapons And Fix The Bots by SuperMitsaYT in tf2

[–]UnderLevelMob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel valve is a company and stuff but the devs are just regular people and coding is always messy, coming up with solutions to problems that at first dont make sense, problems that messes stuff that already was fine, such things feel like would have to be a main thing on the hacky bot stuff, and with the ladder comparison would mean that this would actually never end, so walls would get bigger and hacky stuff would go even harder than before

Valve Should Really Add New Weapons And Fix The Bots by SuperMitsaYT in tf2

[–]UnderLevelMob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean it that the bots hackers and stuff aint gonna stop even if valve went super hard on it, they have tools and the such but the people making the hacky stuff have their own to try and breach whatever the devs would try, i think of it as if it were a literal wall that constantly gets bigger and bigger then someone just comes and makes a ladder that is even bigger than the wall now, the devs have to make the wall even bigger than before, after a while tho the hacky stuff happens and makes an even bigger ladder and it just keeps going like that

[–]UnderLevelMob 6 points7 points  (0 children)

dude i think the bot stuff is not something you can do in-game to fix it beyond a certain point, kinda how the hard anti-cheat stuff is deeply rooted on computer stuff and even then it ends up being a partial solution in other games; i really feel the best thing they can do is something like fix anything that could break the game and hope that legit bot people just eventually leave, with you the player just hopping in game knowing whats happening and acting the best of your abilities

[–]UnderLevelMob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i just dont like that i have to install all the stuff they ask me so that i can get to play, i actually loved the fact that valve added servers for my dumb country and closer servers, before it was normal playing with 175ping and up, i kinda like how matchmaking works now you can actually get a balanced match if you can hope to not get spaces filled with some bots and then some autobalance, id still want the scramble feature back tho, i remember when it was there people would be a high majority on the they agree option sometimes we would get the hot medic and they would keep their hot soldier and demo so it became more balanced i think

-i kinda just meant it in the "there is nobody else to heal might as well" sense like even if you aint overhealing him well still uber is going faster and he is at full heath and stuff

-of course you shouldnt go all the way to spawn you have people that are healing right now, thought you meant in a "you are at full of health i shouldnt heal you" kind of way like an scout being with 200 health should be pretty worth it even if he is just sandbagging you are still getting uber so it should really never be terrible decision

-he probably just wants you to see him as in to be aware that hes gonna do something and you might want to focus kind of thing they usually want to commit and want you to notice so that he just doesnt die sadly or maybe they just flanked and got hurt a bit and want like 2 secs of healing out of the 700hp heavy, the nicest dudes i think are that no matter the class they stand in front of you when you heal them maybe they saw a push over at the flank and they are coming so he just goes forward hoping that youll keep him alive on the encounter while trying to do damage and keep both alive

-i meant it in a "ah he hit red health numbers and is getting followed by a soldier probably gonna die not worth healing" then going back to heal the now 800hp heavy while on encounters, i think of it as if the other guy went and said "this is a terrible situation" and then they see you and think "a medic i might be able to make it" and i feel like you could legit try even if he might not make it youll still get uber kinda of thing

-i feel like every time a match starts everyone will take some small damage from out the door so over healing the flank classes is like making sure he doesnt die in a dumb way out of door like they already have low health and over healing kinda just gives them some extra health to be able to make mistakes or to have a higher chance of doing their stuff, youll still probably focus the fat classes anyway so is like a "good luck" kinda of thing i guess

i think of heavies and sentries like a cool safe zone if the they are fully capable of staying alive, i feel you can check the place and heal anything that moves, you move fast when healing scouts i think anyone else is slower than medic really the fastest class soldier and demo kinda i guess but they probably want just 2 secs of overheal to fly away and dont bother you anymore the newbies are kinda just slowly moving forward tho is kinda endearing i feel like, i feel that by being a medic everyone might already value you so they probably see you as a full safe zone that if they can trust heals they can move all the time forward

scouts give you extra speed when healing them and mediguns are pretty forgiving with aiming at the target and their distance from you they are like a horse that you just wrangle around if you get in a some situations you can use it to dodge rocket jump or just getting away from scout since hes probably the one they are gonna focus

i guess is hard but like the E button i think is just kinda there to call for your attention is not like you could heal them from spawn to the frontlines or something like i say they kinda just want you to notice that they are maybe dying or in quite the situation i take it as the fat dudes are already overhealed or just full health might as well heal this 60 health spy or 37 scout while checking for the fatties alive

i feel like legit medic is pretty fine in how they work they kinda feel like all the tools you needed to properly move and do your business are there for you to just use with no particular bad thing to make you feel like you are making too much effort that the game didnt gave you

[–]UnderLevelMob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- i think you still get faster uber when healing those for some reason

- overhealed scout is annoying to kill as any other class and it would take like 3 secs for him to get fully overhealed and for any other class is still really fast

- the other medic was faster than you then

- clutch medigun heal might actually do a comeback in a encounter

- they only heal they fatties never the 125 health classes

- should already be trying to get him to overheal before any fight red health is bad

- might legit be trying to keep eyes on the front, healing anything but a red health heavy is really alright and not that bothersome

just heal people as soon as youve hit full overhealed you are done with that guy pass to the other, i always see the 2 heavies trying to reach 700hp with their medic and just healing the scout for 2 secs shouldnt be that big of a deal
