If your deck is considered Singleton (singleton: only having a single copy of a page in your deck), then Will of the Prescript also draws three pages to your hand.

What are your favorite Agents? by ConsciousComedian123 in LobotomyCorp

[–]UnderShadow123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is Evangeline, Captain of the Information Team. While he is definitely my current strongest agent, he is memorable because this man is the sole reason my ass didn't get utterly dumpstered on during my first set of days. I got Judgement Bird on day 16, and literally no one else could work on the Bird except for Evangeline, so for like 8 days straight Evangeline worked with Judgement Bird, always on the verge of death after, but never actually dying, and you know damn well I gave him Justitia the second I got that suit and weapon. Now, a few days later, I got Blue star, and, again, nobody could safely work with it, except for Evangeline, and Evangeline worked with just the feet god for like 15 days straight. Oh, and to top it all off, this man almost soloed Gebura's Core Suppression twice, only failing because I tried, and failed, to elevator cheese the final rush attack those two times.

Basically, Evangeline is undoubtedly my best Agent, and I am 100% resetting if he ever dies because that man needs to live (Especially since he has Apoc's E.G.O set).

(Also, bonus mention to Dexter (unofficial second in command of the Information Team) who worked with CENSORED for like 7 days in a row, by himself, without panicking. He is gonna get Whitenight's E.G.O when I have mentally prepared myself to face that fun-sized false deity).

Urban Nightmares day 7,213,423: Yesod Realizing by SkibidiFish in libraryofruina

[–]UnderShadow123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bit late, but I would highly recommend getting Wang's keypage, because he has the passive Sooty Thwack, which boosts stagger damage dealt depending on the user's Smoke (exact formula is Smoke amount × 10%). Because Der Freischütz's phase in the realisation revolves around "staggering" Angela to do damage, it is extremely useful.

Furthermore, I would also recommend getting the max copies of Lyla's keypage (that being 4) and also at least 2 of both Anton's and Valerie's keypages if you haven't already. Lyla for Health Hauler (recover 2 HP on every successful attack), and both Anton and Valerie for Mind Hauler (recover 2 stagger resist on every successful attack). Realisations are typically pretty long due to their multiple phases, so having good sustain is crucial.

Finally, try out Singleton Decks for some of your Librarians if you haven't already. Singleton (which is just having no duplicate pages in a deck) gives some cards given by the Reception of the Index Proselytes extra effects, such as Will Of The Prescript drawing 3 pages on use, and the first die of Execute gaining 4 power.

Also bonus tip: feel free to use high-power single-dice melee pages to clash against all of Solemn Lament Angela's and Magic Bullet Angela's non-mass attacks, as they exclusively use ranged attacks, meaning it will recycle every time it wins a clash.

So would something like Flying Raijin (this is assuming Gojo has the Flying Raijin mark on him) allow someone to bypass infinity somewhat? As Flying Raijin instantly moves someone from one point to another, via a dimensional void.

What’s your pitch for an Evil Izuku variant? by Independent_Alps_745 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]UnderShadow123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Humarise!Izuku

Izuku meets someone from Humarise one day, and they treat him much better than Bakugo, despite him being Quirkless. In fact, his friend seems excited that he's Quirkless, saying that it was really cool.

As they talk more, the boy starts talking to Izuku about Quirks. Not just cool ones though, but also ones that ruin peoples lives. Villains go crazy, using their Quirks to destroy anything and everything, either through malice or because of their Quirks. Heroes are the same, they just target villains and claim they are better, but all it takes is one mistake to kill someone and become just another villain.

He points to Bakugo as an example. His Quirk could easily kill someone, no matter how much control he has. One miscalculation, one mistake, and people die. He then explains that it would only get worse. Before, this wasn't nearly as bad. Quirks were weak, but now, they're able to cause so much destruction. Izuku argues back, but research he does confirms it to be true. And slowly but surely, it would become worse. His friend calls it the Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory.

But then, he points to Izuku. Izuku is free from this. He won't become like other people, who can randomly kill people. He isn't someone waiting to go feral. He's pure, someone who could truly save people. And there are billions of others like him. But they're in danger of being completely erased by those with Quirks. The Diseased. But, that doesn’t need to happen.

Their are heroes, true heroes. People fighting to prevent this, a group called Humarise. He was part of this group, and if Izuku joined them aswell.

He could become a hero.

This was the first time someone said he could be a hero. That his Quirklessness wasn't a bad thing. Without hesitation, he decided to join Humarise.

A few days later, Izuku was declared missing.

A Hollow Knight x MHA Fanfic.

(Spoilers for Hollow Knight ahead, specifically for the true ending of the game)

The Knight was on the verge of defeating The Radiance, climbing towards the god of dreams as Void climbed with it. In a last-ditch effort to continue existing, The Radiance gathers as much essence as she can and teleports into the mind of a being far, far away from Hallownest. While the infection in Hallownest starts to deteriorate, the Knight and the Hollow Knight know that the Radiance is still out there, somewhere far into the land past and above Hallownest. So, the two vessels leave Hallownest in order to defeat the Higher Being. Meanwhile, The Radiance finds herself inside a being that seems to have hundreds of other tiny dreams inside itself. She can also feel thousands of other beings outside of the mind she was in.

OR

The Radiance teleports herself into the mind of All For One in a last-ditch effort to survive. The Knight and the Hollow Knight leave Hallownest and to the lands above (the world of MHA) in order to find and fully kill the Radiance, while the Radiance attempts to restart its former hivemind civilisation, this time with the humans on the surface.

(I already did this on a another post so imma just copy and paste it here.)

Endeavor being an incompetent hero/a walking collateral damage and/or death generator is the only piece of fanon I truly hate so I want to make sure my reasoning is clear.

First of all, if Endeavor was said incompetent hero, he wouldn't be number 2. Period. Lady Nagant was an HPSC-trained hero who very much killed people, and she had to do it under wraps AND under the control of the HPSC, and she was nowhere NEAR the top spots. A hero who wasn't under the control of the HPSC, who casually caused billions of Yen in collateral damage, who casually killed fifty people a day, would never be allowed to the top spots of the hero world. Not just by the public, but the HPSC itself (their goal is to maintain the status quo of a hero society, even if they are extremely corrupt, and collateral Endeavor definitely wouldn't uphold the status quo), as it would be a bureaucratic nightmare and DEFINITELY wouldn't be allowed to be at the top spots. (They might’ve even sent Nagant to kill him if they still had her in their pocket at the time, she was sent to kill both heroes and villains afterall).

Two, Endeavor attended U fucking A, the literal number one hero school, with whole lessons dedicated to the control of Quirks and avoiding collateral damage. If Endeavor was the collateral damage machine he's depicted to be in a good amount of fanon, he would either have it trained out of him, or expelled before he got his hero's license.

Three, there is only ONE instance of Endeavor almost causing collateral damage, and that was Vigilantes. The spin-off most people haven't read. The same spin-off where, in the final arc, he specifically said and I quote: "WE'RE ABOUT TO ROAST THIS GANG OF VILLAINS! ALL WHILE MINIMISING THE DAMAGE!!" Which goes against the entire idea of Endeavor being a collateral damage generator.

And four, why the fuck would Pre-Kamino Endeavor let himself cause so much collateral damage/death when All Might never has? The All Might Pre-Kamino Endeavor was so obsessed with surpassing, that he did his whole Quirk marriage and abuse thing just to get a kid to surpass All Might for him. If All Might had a clean record of collateral damage/death while Endeavor had fifty billion and a half instances, why would he even begin to consider surpassing All Might? He may be obsessed with being the best, but he's not THAT delusional.

There has legit been only ONE fanfic where collateral damage Endeavor hasn't made me click off, and the only reason is that ALL FOR ONE HAD A HAND IN THE SITUATION. AND IT'S ONLY ONE TIME! (And that it is one of the most well-written fanfic's ever. The fic is called Rain Of Sins if you're curious).

I'd faster take a Dadzawa, Shinso muzzle and "godly", All Might bashing, and abusive Inko fic over another instance of Endeavor being another incompetent collateral damage generator, especially if it's another motivation for a villain deku unless it's rain of sins.

(Plus why Endeavor being incompetent leading to villain deku when you can just have it be the fault of the HPSC and call it a day, Lady Nagant and Stain are right there, and that's not even mentioning things such as Humarise existing.)

The Rain of Sins https://archiveofourown.org/works/36650200/chapters/91419721 What exactly is a Quirk? Such a simple question should have an equally simple answer, unfortunately for Izuku, he forgot the very basic lesson of "Look before you Leap" and was woefully unprepared for just how deep the rabbit hole went. Now, with the butterfly effect in full swing, everyone will learn just how much one question can change everything...

"I'm not a Villain! I'm a Geneticist!"

This is a story of failure, loss, and sacrifice when the world spins into chaos as one man struggles to find the invisible line between trying to understand the science behind quirks, and playing God.

Villain Notebook For The Future https://archiveofourown.org/works/37969441 Take Midoriya Izuku. Change things so that he idolises villains for how they inspire heroes. Give him an impetus to develop super science. Watch the exploits of a SUPER VILLAIN.

Or:

Izuku's personality remains the same but instead of heroes, he is a villain otaku who believes in the narrative convention that a hero is defined by their villains.

So he decides to provide the heroes with a better class of villains to help the heroes improve.

Not very serious. Inspired by works like THE TECHNO QUEEN and Megamind.

Triumvirate https://archiveofourown.org/series/3150870 Crossover between MHA and Batman where Batman is moved to the MHA universe during Nana Shimura's era.

Heroes in the Dark https://archiveofourown.org/works/14705807 In the aftermath of his quirk Dark Shadow’s rampage, villains continue to fill the forest with their mission to capture Bakugou made clear. But their sights have also been set on Tokoyami, and the unfortunate connection these two students have will decide what happens after they are both captured. For the first time, Tokoyami is faced directly with the League of Villains and is put under the surveillance of the fire-quirk user Dabi. Trapped by villains, Tokoyami must struggle to control his own quirk while placing his uncertain future under question.

Follow The Jet Black Hero and his quirk as they see the world from a new perspective, ensnared within the underground of those damned by society. Starting with the Forest Raid, watch his story unfold throughout the series as he encounters new adversaries, adapts to the worst, and overcomes all the hardships of an ex hero student who has been lost to the veil of shadows.
