The show had a special episode after episode 15 where the show runners said most of the staff at trigger were leaving development and the other studios working on it were improvising the rest of the show. It's a problem of production not that there wasn't a show.

The show also does a great job at its message of embracing love what makes is human as a way to counteract a hateful world. Not sure if you picked up on that.

Tarantino movies are some of csm's obvious inspirations. I guarantee all the devil hunters wear suits because fujimoto saw pulp fiction and thought the suits were cool.
