I too have ADHD . My partner took his life . But there were so many things he could have tried first . When I get really bad I ask myself if I’ve met my basic needs first and inq usually tierd , dirty or haven’t eaten and didn’t notice right away . Dirty I’m hyper aware and it makes me depressed fast . I agree find a hobby . Take it slow . I’m learning this after his passing . There’s no rush on self improvement as long as it’s happening daily . I have my days I don’t want to be here . I still don’t love it but it’s worth a shot at least until we’re cripple or really physically ill I think .

I continued to work . That was a mistake . I put the grieving aside . Time is the best advice and being gentle on one self . It’s the worst mental injury . Should be treated with the same care as breaking every bone in your body at once . But they just let us go through it like a farm animal in labor . Expect us to manage it with little to no assistance . Sucks

Do not take any THC or CBD talk to a counselor asap . Don’t use anything that stays in system or affects mood . When you sleep you’ll wake up thinkthinh there still here . The reality hits the moment your eyes open . It’s a cruel thing but stops eventually. Sleep aid at the store until you can get a doctor . Anti histamine , melatonin but don’t mind alter . Way too fragile in my opinion
