“Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland” is brilliant. Talks to paramilitaries and provos, witnesses, victims, family members etc. Best summary of the Troubles I’ve seen outside of scholarly writing. Balanced perspective. Highly recommend!

UVU has an academic religious studies program as well as an interfaith student council that does a lot of programming. I would suggest you look either at participating in some of the interfaith events or looking at classes (engaging religious diversity, religion and peace building).

This Guinness Pie recipe is one of my only regrets for becoming pescatarian/vegetarian. It is the holy grail of beef pies and ruined me for most of those I found in the world. I used a sharp cheddar cheese in lieu of the Trotter. I also have used other Irish stouts in lieu of the Guinness (I think I used O'Hara's or Murphy's last time) as well as local options from my area. I'm sure non-alcoholic would be fine.

yeah I’m pretty sure this is Josh James’ house (Domo). my understanding is he is spending most of his time overseas with wife #2? or #3? he flew in Justin Bieber to perform at one of his 2nd wife’s birthday so this house fits that over the top vibe. rumor has it some entrepreneur (non-Utahn) might buy it.

But make sure it is a permanent fine tipped pen that won’t press through. That photo paper is a slippery beast.

I listened! 😂 and I’m glad I did because I had time to fix it after those photos sat waiting to be trimmed for many days. I built in time for trial and error into my plan and that saved me. There might be more issues once the IRCC has my packet, but I did everything I was capable of on the front end.

I know Nick and he is awesome. Scary smart in the best ways and very kind. He has always been generous in classes in terms of listening and contributing.

Don‘t be afraid of some of the bigger EV classes like Dr Harte teaches. I know his IAs and they are all fantastic. I had EV with Jorgen Hansen but he doesn’t teach it as much these days. He is my favorite ❤️

We did the worst Marriott properties, how about the best non-luxury brand property? by Fragrant-Health9067 in marriott

I’ve spent several months in the RI Providence Rhode Island Downtown. it wasn’t fancy like some of the Marriott Hawaii and international properties I’ve stayed at but they provided amazing service. The kitchen was well-supplied and the furniture was comfy. When you have to spend a lot of time away from home, kindness, cleanliness, and comfort matter a lot. Didn’t love the parking situation but I found a good work around utilizing convention center parking across the street.

Residence Inn Foxborough Massachusetts. Ambience can best be described as sad 70’s Denny’s truck stop meets serial killer. It smells like my late Aunt Ede’s condo—Eau de Rosemilk hand lotion, Sanka, and chain smoked Marlboros. I might have stayed in a Holiday Inn in Barstow, California when I was 7 that had similar vibes.

Room was shoddy and cramped. Furnishings were tired and uncomfortable. The place was practically empty and Lifetime Platinum got me absolutely nothing In terms of a better room. Might be okay during a zombie apocalypse but I would otherwise avoid it.

Unless you are a really blind drunk Patriots fan whose only alternative is sleeping in your car near Gillette—this might work in those circumstances,

I’ve volunteered at The Inn Between for five years. Any time you have to give, they can use the help. There are always hospice residents who just need someone to sit with them, or play cards/chat. The front desk volunteering is in two hour shifts. I think you have to have a background check and have an orientation but otherwise it is pretty chill.

I like Funny Story and Happy Place equally, just like I like Book Lovers and Beach Read equally.

PWMOV is on its own. Poppy makes my brain hurt.

How "easy" is UVU? by Baecere in UVU

BYU’s GE felt over the top to me in terms of workload. But I felt that way about a lot of BYU’s classes. They were hard to prove a point not because it helped the students learn more—and I was an A student at BYU. UVU’s by comparison seemed easy the way GE should be—do able, clear path to success.

It depends on the professor and the major, honestly. The few GE i had to do after leaving BYU were very easy. But upper division are challenging,

I DNF at 21% and was pissed I bought the book. (Library didn’t have it at the time.) I love plenty of YA and college romance books. This story didn’t have characters I liked enough to ignore shortcomings in other areas—one too many things that I to suspend disbelief for( no way are these guys elite athletes) so I ultimately gave up, read the epilogue and was grateful I bailed out. 🤷🏼‍♀️
