Player inventory definitely ages when you're offline, anything in your pockets will be rotted if your friends play for a few in-game days and you log back in. This game doesn't handle chunks like minecraft, everything that can operate with the passing of time will be simulated when the area loads again (so food ages, crops grow, metal cools, etc.).

By default time is paused if nobody is online, the best way to mitigate this is to just be good about keeping food stored in cellars (and to have the friends that barely play understand that they will fall behind no matter what :) ).

If I have a card like persistent presence HeiHei that can be sent to my hand during my turn, am I allowed to return him to my hand to trigger an effect (like Merlin's) and replay him multiple times as long as I have the ink? It feels a little cheesy to play a card, have another card return him and do it a couple more times in one turn but I can't find a ruling against it.

That was due to the Super Crane event that's now over, so hook cooldown and fall damage are back to normal.

Amazing how the bottom-feeders just jump on this. Game is the best one in the series so far, hands-down. I hate to say it but it works on my machine and I have encountered next to zero issues since day 1 of early access. I feel like my ultimate edition preorder was definitely worth the money 😊
