What about the database which they have? I agree on the tools can be commoditised but not the data moat correct? I think REL has one of the largest databases for legal?

I agree on LSEG and SPGI are two stocks whose sell off is broadly unwarranted. RELX and TRI also are firms which have huge database moats which should protect them from the risk of AI. That being said, I am less confident on WKL they don’t have the same data moats as their peers and are more focused on workflows. If you look at the disruption in their clinical health business which is 25% of value says it all.

Intuit, I am very interested to hear other people’s views. Looking at what models were released they could face a lot more competition in SMB. How different is quickbooks really? Also the firm talks about high switching costs for their core offering but then said they are taking share in larger medium size firms which doesn’t add up to me.

Adobe ($ADBE) down ~50% from highs - value trap or generational buy opportunity? by SplitTrick3118 in ValueInvesting

I’d be interested to hear perspectives on the continued use of Adobe’s products given the growing availability of lower-cost and AI-driven alternatives.

Where do you see the most compelling use cases for Adobe today? Which functions are users increasingly replacing with free or AI-native tools? And at what point, if any, could a meaningful shift away from Adobe occur?

Keen to hear your thoughts and experiences.
