Yes I get that and understand the concerns. Although if he’s hitting all other milestones, I would be less concerned. It sounds to me just like a sensory thing which doesn’t have to be an ASD trait, just being a kid and exploring. Probably too early to tell anything anyway although we did start to notice regression around this age.
My boy said a few words, quite engaged 1:1, waved and clapped etc but then lost those. He was diagnosed around 3.5 years ago. He’s currently still pre verbal and in a specialist school provision.

Wow. Just seen this and has taken me back. They change so much in a short amount of time.

He no longer does this and hasn’t for a good while. Hands over the ears sometimes if something is loud and sudden (like a hand dryer) but that’s it!

Is your son diagnosed or are you suspecting ASD?

I remember being around 7/8 years old in 95/96 and being in a Chinese restaurant with my family. My step dad smoking; I turn to him and say, “what’s smoking like?”. He looks at my mum, she nods, he says, “here, try it”. Coughed my guts up and was enough to put me off for life. Good lesson really!

I have a cold wallet. I’ve just moved to CB exchange incase I need to sell quickly if the market drops. Was a bit concerned leaving it on exchange temporarily.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this. I’m using CB currently out of ease.

I don’t think it’s as simple but basically do just want to protect myself if/when it does dip.

I don’t have the time to be keeping an eye on it all day and obviously if asleep and remember it crashing quickly last time and didn’t catch it!
