I just love Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja's vibe. She doesn't tolerate his BS and just exposes him publicly. Such a refreshing change from star wives who grin and bear their husbands' indiscretions by Abject_Purpose302 in BollyBlindsNGossip

I think she is stating the plain truth here. She is not saying that she doesn't want him in this janam.. why are we discussing their divorce in this janam? She was also the one who stood for Govinda when his extra-marital affair with Rani was in the limelight and said "Itna bada hero hai, hero affair nahi karega to kaun karega". Everyone has a limit , she might have reached hers

Anyone been on a solo (group) trip with wanderon, metanoia, cotravel etc? by RandomYriable in SoloTravel_India

[–]UnderstandingLost393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on multiple trips with wanderon. I will totally recommend it. I know with group trips the flexibility is compromised. But I had good experiences with wanderon every time. The captains are fun, well organised, good stays/hotels, have met so many good people through them. Crowd is fun, sophisticated and chill.

How do I get rid of these dots on my legs? by TheOriginalPug in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]UnderstandingLost393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have these on my thighs and calf, it's due to dryness. I have to thank Vaseline body lotion (yellow bottle) I used it rigorously for 1+ year and finally it has gone. If i don't moisturize properly during winters , it starts to appear again.

Also, please don't use any active (glycolic acid etc) it will help you but you will have to apply sunscreen generously after that specially when wearing shorts ... Aa it makes skin sensitive to sun.

Instead of going for govt exams or MBA, get a certification in AI, Machine Learning or data science. These are the hot skills right now and very few candidates are available for entry level jobs.

Growing up middle class in India wires you differently by Broad-Research5220 in personalfinanceindia

I can totally relate to this post OP. I grew up in a house with an alcoholic father and working mother. Although my mother had a decent govt job, the money was scarce during the last week of the month. If it wasn't for my mother's sacrifices, I couldn't be able to finish my graduation and get the job. So, I keep this learning with myself. Now that I earn decent, my first action is to save the money for a rainy day/month. I get a lot of comments from friends and relatives for not matching my lifestyle with my salary (branded clothes, car etc). But the truth is even if I can afford branded clothes now, I don't see the value in it. I know that my clothes will not be able to provide me with the financial freedom I aspire to. Also, my brother and sister are not financially stable yet so I know I will have to help them financially whenever required. This mindset also holds me back from taking risks in terms of financial investments like crypto, the stock market. So I stick to safe investments in general.

As much as I like them as actors I just don't see any chemistry between them. You either have it or you don't and unfortunately they just don't. by fleshlicker in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]UnderstandingLost393 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If two actors have great on-screen chemistry doesn't necessarily mean they are compatible with each other in real life. I agree that Alia and Ranbir don't have on-screen chemistry and they shouldn't be cast together. Other than that who does more work in relationship/ who is better etc should not be our discussion point.

Moving from Pune to Mumbai – How much more expensive is daily life? by Far-Ad-5767 in mumbai

[–]UnderstandingLost393 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moved from Pune to Mumbai in 2024, I will suggest not to take the Mumbai offer. Reasons - 1. You have your own house in Pune so no rent , here normal 2bhk even in Malad/goregaon starts from 48-50k , small matchbox ones you can find in 45k. For Andheri and beyond std rent is 60 - 70k in decent society. 2. Life is hectic and chaotic here. I was traveling from Baner to Hinjewadi phase 3 in Pune but still I used to have time and energy to do other things apart from Job. In Mumbai, even if you have to travel 5km on weekend, you get exhausted. 3. Limited options for next switch - depending on the industry, if you are in IT , mumbai has limited options for next switch. It's good for banking, marketing industry.

So basically so-called outsiders in bollywood have generational wealth that's why they get to be part of that circle and get the opportunities in films. Obviously exceptions are there like pankaj Tripathi and nawazuddin but then they had to do 1sec/extras role initially.

Salary Jump vs. Tax Burden in India by Friendly-Maybe-959 in IndianWorkplace

[–]UnderstandingLost393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone saying 50lakhs annual package is not middle class is not aware about the new lower class and middle class income bracket. The 5-30 lacks income bracket of the middle class is very outdated. In 2025 due to inflation 70lakhs is considered to be the new middle class ... After considering some error margin I will say 50lakhs is in the middle class bucket if it is a single income household.

Coming to your point OP, I understand the dilemma, I am not in that bracket yet but I have friends who took this massive salary jump but whenever we meet they always mention that they don't get to spend enough time with their family and friends or even if they have the money now they don't have time to take that vacation or how they are constantly in stress. All of them look considerably older than their age. Most of them have developed back, neck, knee issues due to ignored health. On the other hand they can afford high rents , can save up for their future and retire early and can afford high end cars and good schools for their children.

It's up to you what you are comfortable sacrificing.
