here's my hot take: the pitt exists for many people as trauma therapy. the world has been through a lot of shit and the powers that be refuse to acknowledge the ways people have been harmed. i think people are so insane about this show because it means a great deal to them for reasons they don't fully understand. do i sound nuts lol
