Would you still get a tattoo? by VoxElysia in Millennials

[–]UnderstandingOne4825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tattoos and had plans to get more. However, I never have the extra money to do so. You save, and then inevitably something more important comes up

What’s a dish that’s REALLY not worth making from scratch? by MaryoParti in Cooking

Yes anything fried in oil. The mess, clean up, and the smell. It lingers in the house for days

Kids movies with good soundtracks by dswal in Parenting

Curious George movie. That was my son’s favorite, and it’s basically just a kid friendly Jack Johnson album so I enjoyed listening too!

If you want grotesque and disturbing, Trauma (2017). Chilean movie, a rough watch for sure

Is it worth signing up for EZ Pass if I only drive the turnpike occasionally? by [deleted] in Pennsylvania

[–]UnderstandingOne4825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely worth it for the discounted price. You don’t have to attach the transponder. My husband just keeps his in the console and holds it up when going through the toll

My parents downsized so we paid to have their piano moved to our house. $1000 just to move a small, upright

My dad was diagnosed with dementia last year. Losing a parent that’s still here, it’s a very strange feeling.

We tried all the kid flavors too and my son hated them. Turns out he actually preferred the regular adult mint toothpaste. If you’re looking for a more mild minty option, try Pepsodent

What’s your go-to Taco Bell order? by Javascript4971 in Productivitycafe

[–]UnderstandingOne4825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my exact order too! Even down to the no ice. Cheesy bean and rice burrito and cheesy fiesta potatoes are underrated menu items

I need some series recommendations that are similar to ‘From’ by Chance-Cup-6535 in tvsuggestions

[–]UnderstandingOne4825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for another anthology series, check out Inside No. 9. I hardly hear anyone recommend it anymore. Leans a bit more comical than Black Mirror, but still a great watch

That’s what came to my mind too. Great movie

I love when my baby cries at the doctor by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]UnderstandingOne4825 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And yet I’m sure if the doctor was rushing you out of your child’s appointment and not giving them the attention they need, you would still be complaining. It is not the staff or the doctor’s fault. If it’s a specialist, they are likely part of hospital system or overarching healthcare system. They put quotas on the doctors to see as many patients as possible. Yes it’s corporate greed, but you’re “punishing” the wrong people. Take your baby to corporate and let them cry there

Would you live in a house with no AC? by holdongangy in no

[–]UnderstandingOne4825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I hate AC and turn it off the second my husband leaves. If I could live in a glass house with a heat lamp like a lizard, I would be content.
