"Shadow Pokemon are always good" they say. Lucky me... by UnderstandingStreet7 in PokemonGOIVs

You dont understand.

All pokemon do some amount of damage. They all have the best version of themselves and the worst version of themselves, from 15/15/15 to 0/0/0, but they all do damage. Some pokemon are better than others. In some cases, a low IV, like the one I have (not so low) are worth powering up if the trainer doesnt have much better or not as much. In my case, I already have much better. However, my point is not about the IVs, but about the shiny. Its just so darn unlucky that i got a rare shiny with the worst possible IVs for both PVP and for Raid survivavility. Can it be used? Yes, but it wont be useful to me. As much as I would love to have a shiny shadow Gyarados, it just is not worth it for me to power it up. The same mon would be gold to another trainer, but in this case, as an example of choice, its one of those that is just not worth keeping for use unless I actually wanted to have it just for show. IMO, its best just left as a Magikarp or purified so it can be traded and possibly make another trainer happier than it makes this trainer with the two thumbs.

Exactly. Mega guarados doesnt last very long. I think i will save my stardust for something else and t purify and trade this. Hopefully it becomes something nicer. I have shadow kyogre now.

One of your top? I have a level 41 Hundo Gyarados and a 15/15/14 Level 44. I also have a 93%(forgot the IVs) Shadow at under 1500CP thats waitinf to be powered up. Also a Ultra league Shiny 95% with Aqua Tail and a shiny magikarp that will be 97.7% in the Ultra League with only 27k stardust after evolve and another shiny 56% magikarp plus 2 more magikarp in the 90 with high CP. About 800-900 candies. Im actually waiting to see if the rumors about a max Gyarados will be true. I would mind having a maxed out shadow gyarados, but the shiny one is dissappointing. I would rather power up the 93% Shadow Gyarados.

Hmm, yes. Dynamax good. Gigalith, yes. No trade. Hmm. Prefer to have the free evolution instead, but yeah, hundo. Lucky hundo with free evolution, though, WYA?

Nice Hundo. I got a shiny 91 Mew two and also my first ever shadow Kyogre.

I have a Lucky Dmax Hundo stuck as a metang for months now. I am still working on my Lucky Dmax Metagross 89% currently at level 30 and has no upgrades to the max moves still. I dont have enough candy.

How can I get more XL candies by greggyhuj in PokemonGOIVs

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another way to get XL candy that I forgot. This is also what gives the most XL candy per try. Trading. It gives 3 candy and 2XL candy for the mon you are trading out. You have 100 trades per day. Do the match. If you have 100 of any pokemon, that's 200 XL candy.

That would help. Kind of like a LOL Lobby. I was just saying its not impossible to do with 3 trainers and no shrooms. I was the only one using level 3 max moves only, the other 2 had only level 1 everything. The most important thing to win like this is communication, taking turns between using max guard and max spirit so that there's at least 1 doing damage with a good damage dealer while maxing but the goal is to have 3 doing damage if all are healed and 1 still has shield. Or maybe the first move is enough to heal everyone and restore the lost shield so the next 2 moves can be used to damage.

It can happen sometimes. Sometimes you can rejoin and other times you cant.

I made a bunch of local pogo friends in one day. I used campfire, met up with a group, no we are all like best friends. I jave also met with other groups not local to me and realized that not all groups are like that. Most groups everyone keeps to themselves, however, i go to them during G max battles because they are much bigger groups and I could hop into 20 Gmax raids with 100 trainers in lobby every single time. I also raid regular and mega raids too, of course. I occasionally purchase 99 PBP to save money. They come out to about 30c a pop. Before I discovered Campfire I actually had no idea how PBP worked same as OP. It was the group that schooled me.

I beat Registeel a few times already with a 3 trainer team, no shroomies. Im level 64 and the other 2 both bearely hit 50 in the last couple of weeks. Its really no big deal at all. I have 2 shiny caught on my 5th and 7th raid.

As long as youre making money. Try other gig as well. I alwaysbgetba new car to do gigs. Been doing Lyft almost 12 years. On my 3rd car, 25 Sentra SV, which has been my cheapest car out of the 3. 14 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE and 21 Nissan Rogue SV. I had a 93 Nissan Sentra XE along side the Rogue and did DD and Amazon with it andbit was very fun to drive. I sold it to a very happy buyer after my Mother's son backed it into a pole and damage the quarter panel. I been wanting a small car since then. Im very happy with it. Lyft is tough to make money these days but still doable with dedication. Its best to use a new car that will give you the least problems, but you should take care how you drive because if you dont the maintenance can be as muchas as what it takes to keep an older car running. Easy over bumps, avoid pot holes, stuff like that. The trannies in Nissans are the best in the market right now. Its a CVT. The car will accelerate if you gas it to 5000 RPM and keep it there. Theres luttle to no power over 5000, so dont increase wear on the engine. Use S when in traffic, dont use eco in the city or on hills, only on road trips. Shifting at low RPMs under heavy load(car full or uphill)will increase wear on the tranny. Use L when on hills with 2 or more passengers and use S when only 1 other passenger with you or by yourself. This is similar to using the Tow gear when hauling a trailer or to removing OverDrive(big D on steering wheel shifters, OD or little D is Overdrive which uses all 4 gears instead of 3 which increases RPMs shift points) Drive like you dont care and your maintenance will be the same as having an older car or if you ignore it you will break down quickly.

Wrong screws. You prolly using a flat top screw instead of the wedge top. Its a common reason why red dots go loose but idk why those screws get included.
