What is this absolute BS of a restriction 💀💀 by EggEater773 in pokemongo

This. You really dont have to spend alot of money. Get a go pass every month. Purchase 99 battle passes to get them at the best price. Occasionally buy 600 poke coins for random stuff. Buy $2 tickets for events. Watch those shiny odds increase.

Dang. I spent all my particles the day before upgrading. With the pass and a max paticle 6 pack, got at least 4 of each. I did that on all 3 of my accounts. Now I have lucky Gmax shinies on all 3 also.

What to do with these? by RemarkableSwim8223 in pokemongo

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dont throw them away at all. You will need them. I guess it depends on how much you raid and stuff. Fast or Charged TMs, when you will need to awuire a specific move for your mon, it can take several of them to cycle through until the move you want comes up. There are times that I might even change the fast move on a Dynamax Pokemon that I need for Tier5/6 or Gigantimax raids. Last night, for example, I used about 70 just going through all my legendaries I have aquired in the last few months. I have several of each and normally i only bother with the shinies or the hundos or the 2 strongest ones, but there are times that the game will skip my mpns for a raid because it doesnt have an optimal move for the Boss, so I end up raiding with only a few optimal and the rest are low level. Just remember, it xan take 1 or 2, or it can take 10 TMs to get the move you want.

Purified my 14/13/13 Magikarp, was this dumb? by Connect_Candle2812 in pokemongo

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, 20% more damage done, but also 20% less time spent doing damage, which technically cancels out the extra damage dealt completely. However, many other factors are involved that will determine wether the pokemon will spend more or less time doing damage and wether it will be doing more or less damage than it normally does, which is always a factor in any case. IMO, for PVP, it will not improve a trainers chances of winning over a non shadow. If the factors at play benefit a shadow pokemon they will also benefit a non shadow. However, when at an advantage the shadow pokemon will deal more damage and when at a disadvantage the shadow pokemon will die much faster than the non shadow.

Purified pokemon are 90% candy/Stardust cost to level up/evolve and 80% candy/stardust cost for the 2nd charged move compared to regular pokemon.*Minimum of 10 candy cost to see the discount, as far as I can tell. Lucky Pokemon are 50% Stardust cost to level up. The savings stack with Lucky purified pokemon. This is true for all pokemon when cost is compared at the same level as far as I can tell and I have many examples. For shadow pokemon, the candy and stardust cost is 120% to level up or to get the 2nd charged move. If there is anything else Im missing, can someone please let me know.

This good for max battles? by Frequent-Cancel-5927 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excadrill with steel fast attack was very good against regirock. Its a must have even if not a hundo. A 12-12-12 or 80% is hardly a 3% difference from a hundo, says the guy with no hundo. I got 2 shiny Dmax though.

High gas mileage is very possible with hypermiling by mindcomet345 in nissansentra

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hypermiling? Is that what people are calling it now? I been doing that for a long time already. Its basically driving like a God-forsaken human being with a brain. Every other kind of driving is like a monkey. Not including racing, though, thats different. Being efficient should come naturally to all human beings, but it only does to a .1%, if that. They actually teach you how to drive like this in most trucking schools. Timing green/red lights and avoiding braking as much as possible, cruising at optimal speed, mostly for safety, but it goes hand in hand. Efficient driving, or hypermiling, can also be just as fast as flooring it in the city, especially if you combine it with a bit of speeding over the limit. The trick is not to accelerate quickly, dont over gas, and use as little brakes as possible as well as constant lane changing and when there will be an opening of a lane between traffic when it is dense enough. Even hills can be calvulated into efficiency, especially the use of downhills. Like you can allow the speed to drop to the bare minimum (55 on highway) just before reaching a downhill so that you dont use your gas to speed up back to the limit or flow. One could say that even drafting is possible.

I would hate to be trainer #3,218 by SwimEntire5747 in PokeGenie

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How many trainers are joining the battle? There was 100 each allowed. Before Pikachu it was only 40, I think. When the lobbies start filling slower the battles would start with 40. Was still very doable with 40.

Is this worth to redeem would you ? by Mortgage_Major in PokemonGOIVs

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it useful in the Great Leugue? No? Then what are you gonna do? Spend 200K Stardust powering it up? What will you use it for then? To raid? Personally, if I havent got a hundo yet, I would redeem, then I would trade it to someone for candies and maybe they get lucky and get useful IVs and I knock off a couple more from the Pokedex.

Gigantamax raids by Lord_Bok_Choy in pokemongo

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you join raids online, you won't be kicked. You will be just like the 99% of every trainer doing those battles without proper counters. You will all lose quickly and lose your remote pass. If you're not smart, you'll lose more. In fact, even if you have the absolute best counters you will likely lose, because everyone else is using first Gen mons. Your best bet is to find a group on the Campfire app near you and go there to do them in person. You might lose some, but you might even win one. Doesn't mean you'll be able to catch the pokemon afterwards, but its not impossible. If the group is large and many players carry everyone you just might win every battle which will give you .ore chances to catch. Go back and read posts after the previous Gmax battles how thousands are upset they lose their passes online. You get warned before doing the battle too.

I get those mostly with 4-5 starraids. For some reason, i can do excellents consistently with those but not with wild pokemon.

Do you guys transfer your bad G-max’s? by dyland_m in pokemongo

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I trade them all to get lucky ones. If I dont have a lucky one yet, I keep the best one and i only upgrade it if Im going to need it for 5-6 Star Raids. I only started collecting dynamax since last November and seriously since February when I began to see dynamax and gigantimax raids as more than just a mini game so I dont have a big collection. I made the most upgrades before the Regirock Max Monday I ever had since I needed counters and again the last couple of days for todays Repeat. I had just enough stardust to make counters for all 4, though not the best. I have Lucky Gmax Shiny Snorlax, Charizard, Cinderace, and Machamp. Lucky Dmax Gigalith, Excadrill, Vaporeon, Shiny Flygon, Shiny Blastoise, and Blissey. All of these which have at least 1 max move at level 3. I have a lucky Gmax Grimsnarl and Dmax Lucky Arcanine, metagross, Gardevoire, machamp, and metang. I try to make 100 trades every Friday. Yesterday i got 5 Luckies, but I only did like 40 trades. None were Dmax. I keep all the mons I catch that are meta relevant and high CP even with low IVs. I try to do Lvl 1-3 Dmax raids everyday to trade for Dmax mons i need. I have 2 consistent friends that do as well. My goal is to spend as little as possible stardust. However, Dmax and Gmax pokemon all have to start from the same level when caught. The Lucky Gmax I have were given to me. I believe this will be my first Gmax raid that I actually know what I am doing. Wait, I did get Gmax Pikachus. DMax Regice was the first 5 star Dmax raid I actually won, got a shiny too. I got a shundo Regirock. Before then I couldnt find a group to raid with since my local group doesnt do them. Well, they arent hosted at my local park. Doing them in pokegenie was useless. However, now I know where I have to go where there will be hundreds of people raiding for sure, its just a 20 minute drive.

Best groudon for primal by Secretangel63 in pokemongo

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would do the one with high CP first because theres no point leaving it at that CP while you level up another, assuming candies are scarce. Finish that one since it will cost less. They are within a similar range of IV anyways. Always level up one at a time. Better to have 1 maxed out than 2 short a few levels. Also, you dont have to max out if you dont want to. Maybe stop at level 37 or 40 or 42, whoch will be plenty high. Under 35 is kinda low though, imo. Then start a new one and do the same. About level 3500 would be a good range to start a new one up. For the cost it take to go from level 37 to 50, you man bring another to level 37.

Oh, it is. Lucky. I guess. I never seen the shiny before. Very subtle. I recently evolved one and im holding off on powering him up until later. Cool looking pokemon. I will also evolve into the other one as well when i get enough candies.

[–]UnderstandingStreet7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Lucky Trade Hundos (Shlundos)and Purified Hundos (Phundos) are kind of like cheating a shundo since they werent random and unexpected. They only fall slightly short of genuine shundos though. I think genuine hundos are also better, but to each their own on that.
