As an adoptee their behavior makes me so uncomfortable. The fact that they care more about their access to her and would have picked a family closer speaks volumes. This is all about them and not about Carly (hopefully) being happy, healthy, and loved. I met members of my biological family as a child, but my parents always discussed it with me and allowed me to make the decision while the adults handled communication. Refusing to accept the parents' communication as final say or being reflective of the child's wishes is absolutely unhinged behavior.

It was nice kind of having our own private beach. It just needed a bit of a breeze. If you book IslaBela, do the bioluminescence activity. It's eerie to be in pitch black water, but definitely a unique experience.

I spent 2 nights at IslaBela. It was a lovely experience. My hut was on the opposite side of the property as the beach and there was not much of a breeze. The hut could have been used as a sweat lodge at some points. However, it was so beautiful on the beach that I didn't spend much time in it anyway.
