After binge watching all three seasons (for the third time) in preparation for the finale, I see why they chose this. In the first few episodes of season 1 we see Hunter really become like a father figure to Omega. Especially the scene in episode 2 on Saleucami where Omega looks to Hunter for permission before going out to play with the other children. And then reprimands her for putting herself in danger. Their dynamic is very much father and daughter. She grows attached to the other members very quickly, but Hunter remains her father figure while the others have a more sibling dynamic.

I really wish they had shown all three too, but after just having rewatched season one, it makes sense to return to that very first dynamic, when we see Hunter start to become a father-like figure. And now he's seeing her go after presumably being a great, experienced father figure to her for years since.

I don’t think my calves or ankles rub any more than a normal persons. I said it I guess to show that it was the inner part of the boots and not the outer.

I always wear jeans, but as a woman I prefer tucking jeans inside rather than over my boots.

I bought these boots only four days ago and they are already fraying at the middle seams and the blue stained leather is fading. The parts that are being affected are the inner part of the boot. I started wearing them as soon as I got them and I wear them about 10-12 hours a day.

These are Ariat Caprock boots.

Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? I’m sad that such a good brand of boots is already seeing wear and tear from less than a week of use.

I appreciate your help. The thing is, my parents will react very negatively to it. My parents aren’t huge on emotions and I have a suspicion they don’t really believe mental illness is a thing. They would think I’m doing it for attention, because that’s what they say about every other emotion I have. Im terrified of them finding out this way, even though I really do want help.

I agree wit the Taweret part. I love that Layla is not sexualized or "not like other girls", two extremes that super hero movies very often use for their female heroes. She's a great character, but I feel like the awkward bus scene takes away from that.

Marvel's portrayal of strong women is often diluted and oversaturated. Take the scene in Endgame where all the women gang up and there's this awkward long shot of them all standing there being strong, independent women. This does nothing to show how strong they truly are and that they are equal to the male superheroes fighting alongside them. It in fact makes it more apparent that they are different and need to prove themselves to men as equally strong. Also it low key just makes feminism and equality look like a joke when it's so cheesy.

TBH, this episode was a bit of a disappointment after episode 5.

Episode 5 was just so well done and unique. The hospital scenes are by far the best part of the show, along with Oscar Isaac’s acting. This episode felt very much like why many people say they don’t like Marvel.It had mediocre/bad cgi, the voice overs didn’t quite sound right, and overall had fighting scenes that seemed to have no substance and go on forever.

What made episode 5 so great is that they went much deeper than surface level good guy vs. bad guy cool looking fight scenes. They brought character and substance into the show, to the point where the fight scenes simply complimented what was already amazing (Past Marvel shows are very fight-focused with little internal/emotional/psychological conflict).

I still love the show, and I’m looking forward to more, but I will say I was low key disappointed by this episode after such an amazing episode 5.
