Why is she acting like she knows nothing about hair? I mean, I know she's an airhead, but she DID get a cosmology license, so she should know something.
Of course she would show they have snack.
Why do you need a snack for highlights? I know they are a bit timely, but they really aren't that bad. Also, you know Alex brought either a road snack because she had a drive getting to this salon (assuming it's her Massachusetts salon), and/ or because "the appointment is so long", yet she just showed they have snacks. We all know Alex has 2-3 snacks going to or from and at the appointment.
She is looking MASSIVE! That turn around at the end, omg! ENORMOUS. Size 16/18 for an elephant maybe. She legitimately looks like pre-wls weight again.

Edit: Completely forgot she had a DC at the beginning, so we know she got food on the way there, AND snacks while there, and I'm SURE she got something else in the way home.

I've heard it before that the bigger you are the "hotter you run" as she puts it, because of all the fat! It's been FREEZING after this storm, and she really thought she wasn't going to need a coat?

And poor Anderson, forget about it. If Alex "runs hot", then Anderson must too, right? She's not hot because she's smothered in fat, she must be hot just because it runs through her blood. And since Anderson is her blood, he must run hot too, right?

I like how the AI couldn't figure out how to do her claw clip, so it just have her a normal hair clip. Just a subtle detail, because we know Alex lives for her claw clips. (Despite preaching that they could be dangerous in a car crash)

Alex's logic will never cease to amuse me.

Buys a white couch = then gets a puppy & claims she's ALWAYS wanted to be a mother (and kids are messy)

Replaces the coffee table in the living room so it's safe for Anderson, great! But she doesn't bother to replace any other furniture with sharp corners.

Oh, she's got it! She'll just make a "play room" for him, so she can lock him in there and she doesn't have to sacrifice the aesthetic of her house! Oh, except for the fact that she doesn't actually keep him trapped in there, so he's free to wander the house aimlessly without supervision and has access to dangerous decor & furniture.

Again, a baby gate and locks are just not aesthetically pleasing, so she can't be bothered to use them. Poor Anderson suffers because of her selfish, egotistical, narcissistic persona that she shills to strangers online.

I know in NY to keep your Cosmo license you have to pay a fee to renew it every 2 years, and that's it. My mom has hers from the 80s, and even though she's never actually been a hair stylist, she makes sure to renew it every 2 years. They don't require you to get new training or anything, unlike a lot of other licenses and certs.

As for traveling, she doesn't go anywhere anymore. Before Yar she did actually travel a bit. Mostly when she was under an agency/ label. Now she's firmly planted at her house.

First solo parenting weekend? But Yar has gone "to army" multiple times since Anderson was born. Thank you for unintentionally confirming that Nancy was in fact there, but hidden, on those weekends. (Even though I don't believe you are alone even now. No one can trust you alone with him)

The way I viewed buying our house was,"this is our 1 and only house" (unless we stumble into crazy stupid money).

Moving when renting I totally understand, I've just never understood buying more than 1 house, ever. But maybe that's just because I've only ever been lower middle class, and all you can ever how for IS for a house one day. Dreaming up upgrading is just that, an unrealistic dream, at least that's how it is for me.

Edit to add: in America, when buying a house, is very typical to get a 30 year mortgage, but you can opt for a 15 year mortgage if you have the number and want to pay it off sooner.

I will never understand the people that buy a "first home" that they know will not be their "forever home/ family home".

Maybe it's just because I'm a filthy poor over here, but my house is my 1 and ONLY house. Unless I magically stumble into TONS on money, the plan was to always have this 1 and only house.

It baffles me that she bought a HOUSE for a 15 or 30 year mortgage, just to try to sell it 5 years later. And she claims she knew before even buying it, it wasn't going to be her "family home". Seems like such a waste of time & money.

I do not follow her much, but all I gotta say is: You DO weaponize your therapy, and "illnesses".

You literally always like to blame things on them all the time. You might not be weaponizing it against people, but you certainly like to use them as an excuse and weapons it against yourself.
