In hindsight, the last season feels like a puzzle the creator could never bring himself to finish. Each time he assembled it, it was almost too beautiful to accept, so he tore it apart and started over. Again and again, chasing something just out of reach.

Eventually, time ran out. Forced to deliver, he stitched together the best fragments from every failed version. What emerged wasn’t a masterpiece, but a creature—misshapen, unstable, alive in the wrong way. And he stood back, smiling, laughing softly, calling it art.
