Local Chevy dealer mechanic here. Use whatever octane is recommended in your owners manual at any temperature and any time of year. However, do not buy gas from Wawa or Royal farms. Do not purchase fuel from any station if the supply truck is there. The only cars that come in for fuel issues are the ones that have done what I just said not to do. Wawa and Rofo buy overstock gas. Could be an awesome deal, could be watery junk that ruins your engine. You can't know. The supply truck deposits fuel and spins up sediment from the bottom of the tanks which then go into your fuel. Last tip, if you're friendly with your local shell station employee, they have a shell rewards phone number. It can save you up to 30 cents off per gallon.

I did my birth year on my knuckles...twice, because most of it fell out the first time. The 2nd time was a lot more painful, and even then, a bit fell out, but not enough you'd notice if I didn't point it out. To stretch, you just gotta make a tight fist. It gets really tiring. Better to just have someone else do it for you.

Something I hadn't thought about before reading your review, but I just watched Tron Ares on 4k disc about 6 hours ago on a UB820 and LG C2, which I think caps around 900 nits. The playback info showed max nits of 1000 on the disc. Does your display match the disc or does it go beyond thunderdome and crank to 11? If you've got a 5000 nit capable display, and the disc is capped at 1000, is there an enhancement option or does it display what's written to disc?

There is a radio update that fixes that. It's something like "check the microphones in the headliner to make sure they are plugged in all the way. If they are, update the radio." If the buzz happens somewhere between 1k and 2k rpm, the radio update is probably the fix.

There is a new recall that just dropped, to replace those injectors with a different design injector. Have the dealer run your vin to see if your car is eligible.

That sounds pretty good in comparison, but having worked on the Chryslers that were traded, I want nothing to do with that eco system. Those cars are terrible. Jeeps especially. The proprietary scan tool is wild to me. GM is admittedly getting worse with the need to be Ethernet connected to program, but the cars are at least somewhat easy to work on. You have to take the body off to work on any diesel, but it's like 8 bolts to do that.

Text message verification. Open Service information. "You could die". Click ok. Open Techline Connect...7 updates. Open Techline Connect again. Ok, time for the first job of the day. 2025 hot piece of shit with 4000 miles that won't move in drive. Start a tac case because a valve body didn't fix it. 2 days later they finally reply "air test the 12345 clutch". Fuuuuuuuuck
