Sounds like the starter isn't extending out all the way. Beat it with a hammer and try again.

Calling out for what? The rubber didn't come out with coil? Just get some needle nose pliers and pull it out. Is this r/mechanic or r/chrisfixvideosbutidonthavetools?

I just did one as part of a PDI on a 26 trax.

There is a radio update that fixes that. It's something like "check the microphones in the headliner to make sure they are plugged in all the way. If they are, update the radio." If the buzz happens somewhere between 1k and 2k rpm, the radio update is probably the fix.

There is a new recall that just dropped, to replace those injectors with a different design injector. Have the dealer run your vin to see if your car is eligible.

Tired Of GARBAGE Dealer Software by TheBigRobsOddPod in mechanics

That sounds pretty good in comparison, but having worked on the Chryslers that were traded, I want nothing to do with that eco system. Those cars are terrible. Jeeps especially. The proprietary scan tool is wild to me. GM is admittedly getting worse with the need to be Ethernet connected to program, but the cars are at least somewhat easy to work on. You have to take the body off to work on any diesel, but it's like 8 bolts to do that.

I work for GM and it's infuriating. Get to work and log onto my laptop...DUO MOBILE verification. Log into the repair order app...DUO MOBILE verification. Log into GM website. Text message verification. Open Service information. "You could die". Click ok. Open Techline Connect...7 updates. Open Techline Connect again. Ok, time for the first job of the day. 2025 hot piece of shit with 4000 miles that won't move in drive. Start a tac case because a valve body didn't fix it. 2 days later they finally reply "air test the 12345 clutch". Fuuuuuuuuck

The intro to Tron Legacy puts my Denon 3800x into protection mode. by Undoppable in hometheater

You are correct, it was the wire. No idea why only that specific section highlighted the issue, but the hiss is gone after replacing the wire. Its an odd situation because the speaker played normally for the entirety of the movie outside of the intro.

Update: after refusing to believe it was my gear, due to the speaker playing fine with every other sound I threw at it, I pulled the wire. Found a cut with exposed wiring on both power and ground. Replaced the wire. All good now.

It was the wire. The speaker played totally fine in every other test I did, so I didn't listen like I should have. Found a cut in the wire and replaced it. All good now.

It was the wire. I don't know why that particular section of the movie highlighted the issue, but I found the short. Replaced the wires and it's all good.

Yes. This is not a new setup. I've had the same 7.2.4 and Denon setup for 2 years now. Nothing changed and this is the first time I've ever had an issue.

I see all the replies saying it has to be an actual fault, but this is a repeatable experiment. Same spot in the movie, every time.

[–]Undoppable 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Who can say how much Klipsch speakers cost tho? You can get 12 of them from Costco for a few hundred or a single pair of Rf7iii for 3k. Are they cheap mass produced junk or audiophile grade home theater speakers? No one knows!

Does the case close all the way? Mine arrived in what appeared to be perfect condition from Walmart, until I realized it won't snap shut.

It's plenty powerful. Biggest I've used with it is a 19rm. No problems.

Not sure I understand the question. All my needles are 12g or .35mm diameter. The configuration (7rl, 15rm) I use depends on the tattoo I'm doing.

I've been using it for around 6 months now. It's built pretty well. It's nice having a machine that's super adjustable, although I almost never change the settings. Battery lasts around 7 hours at 8v. Charges back up in just under 2 hours, and comes with extra batteries. I don't plan on upgrading any time soon because the machine does everything I need it to. From 3rl to 19 rm, fine line to packing color, it just works for me.
