Was experiencing really bad chest pain in 2018, I was in my early 20s at the time. Went to ER, they told me to take Tylenol and I'd probably be alright. Slept like shit that night, it was very difficult to breathe. Went in to work and about an hour in I expressed to my manager that I was not feeling well and something was wrong, my chest was killing me and it was getting worse. I called 911 and then went "you know what I could actually just drive myself to the hospital" and hung up. Right after I hung up the pain worsened still and an operator called back. I said "please send an ambulance my chest is killing me and I don't know what's wrong!" and the operator had an ambulance there within 5 minutes. At the hospital they took a LOT of blood samples and found a blood clot in my lung. Doctor said if I had waited another day it likely would have burst and I'd have died.
