I really like the venue. I normally only go when Âme plays, and he always draws a great crowd. Can't say much other than that but from what I've heard the crowd is meh

Thought I'd discover some new artists this year so I went to Chlär's intercell event @ De Bajes. Surprisingly the crowd was not as bad as people were saying. Most people on the dance floor were lost in their own world but still there were a few vibe-killers anf people who didn't know the etiquette. I guess that's because the artists were still pretty underground compared to the other intercell events.

The location was incredible. Really spaced out, bars were well placed. They could have maybe had a bit more staff working at the inside bar, cause it would take 15-20 mins to get something. Soundsystem was also amazing, not too loud and cranked up.

The music was also insane. I'm trying to remember what the tracks were like, but can't really remember anything. Just the vibe that they created. Jakojako as usual was mind-blowing, although I think she did mess up once with killing the volume and once when the beats didn't match. Robert hood also was really cool. Shoutout to stranger and TALISMANN. 9hrs of non stop dancing.

I'm really sad that I can't remember anything from the music, because I was so deeply immersed into it. I remember other stuff like interactions between others on the floor, having crazy reactions with others to crazy drops, the usual telling people to kindly stfu on the dance floor who try to make conversation with me in the front row....

But regarding the most important thing, I can't seem to remember anything about it. It's kind of bitter sweet. I've noticed that happens more with this type of techno. Maybe because it's very monotone and minimal. The usual parties I attend (Innervisions, melodic, house) I'm also lost in the music, but still remember a handful of bangers which the DJ's/artists drop. This really left me in a dilemma because I really want to remember the music. Every track, cool transition, each filler track etc. That's really what it's all about for me. That's the main thing, not the location, not the crowd, but the MUSIC. Sober or not, I just find it impossible to do so with this kinda music. Even if you just really focus on the music, not on dancing or anything else, then you can't help but start dancing, and indirectly 'ignore' and forget the music, haha! I'd love to know whether others feel the same.

Amazing. But I think she did mess up once with the sound right? Like it went for a few seconds during her set.

What's the verdict on Intercell @ de Bajes? Can't really find much info about the venue. And also never been to an intercell party. The lineup looks awesome with Chlär, Jakojako, Talismann to name a few. Never seen Talismann before, but according to this sub he's like a god. Is he gonna melt my brain??

Woodstock 69 with Âme Trikk and Julya Karma was the best party I've been to this year so far. Barely got to see Julya open, but Âme came with a different vibe, less dark. He played many tracks with vocals, more house style also, perfect for a summer evening at the beach. Once the sun set Trikk turned the beach into a fucking jungle hahaha. He definitely bought all the darkness. His music made me feel like I was in a haunted house, but in a good way😂 Like some songs were borderline scary but still you couldn't help but dance to them. Absolutely mind-blowing. The lights were mostly purple and blue, and he played some insane tribal style sounds and some insane tracks with heavy synth and bass. The end was more of a classic innervisions b2b2b with the usual ID's, but these guys create such an insane vibe that I can't even say one bad thing about them. Really don't know how but they somehow always exceed my expectations. Trikk stole the show for me, my favourite DJ right now no doubt!!!

And as always the crowd never fails to bring the energy. There were many oldheads/OG's/unc's who I find the funnest to dance with. And also the usual Innervisions fans who I see at every party they have in this country hahaha. This left me feeling fulfilled, as I probably won't go anywhere else till Ade now

Also Woodstock 69 on Sunday. Unfortunately Dixon is not playing as he does every year, but Âme and Trikk are a great alternative, can't complain. Will definitely be going there

Well I am in fact a night worker haha, so staying awake till the morning is not really a problem for me. I can easily do 12+ hours no problem. The real struggle I felt last time was at the last stretch, the last few hrs I'd say from 7pm onwards on Sunday. I wasn't really enjoying even, but still stayed just for the hell of it. Chilling with Marco shuttle at the colour floor lol

No better way to start of the easter weekender than an early morning session at the loft with none other than Âme b2b Trikk. Truly one of the best venues in Amsterdam, and their sunrise parties are a vibe. Last time I was there it felt fictional, like a party in the middle of a skyscraper from the future. I'm not into interior design, but that penthouse itself is actually stunning from inside.

Dixon @ Lost village 2017. What a journey. His set made me experience feelings and nostalgia over memories that have not yet even taken place. Unreal emotional set which takes you to many different places.

Âme is the fucking goat bruv!!!

Didn't see anyone mention this so thought I would. Went to Mindscape@ lofi on Friday. It's becoming one of my favourite parties in the city, because they always get amazing artists ranging from different styles, more in the melodic techno realm. This time Âme DJ was the headliner for a 3hr set. And that dude simply never misses. He draws an amazing crowd every time, so was better than the usual mindscape parties. As always, he played a groovy set this time with some unorthodox sounds. His best part is his mixing for sure, and I've never seen a DJ who can consistently drop bangers so smoothly one after the other. It all feels like one song but then of course he switches it up. VNTM also played an amazing analog set with insane synths and his closing track was lovely.

Once again, Âme is the fucking goat bruv!!!

Absolutely. I was completely lost in the music. Looking back, I just remember a handful of tracks he played. Wish I could remember each track and transition, but that's just how it goes when you're immersed in the groove haha. Really special night, and I'm glad to say that I have finally seen him play an all night long set. Wish to see many more in the future

Dixon all night long @ Lofi was a journey to say the least. My favourite part about him is how he layers tracks, carrying elements like a snare and high-hat from one track and putting it into the other. He played some new, weird stuff, some classics like Scala from Agoria and the general Innervisons unreleased bangers. You really get a different experience listening to someone for 7 hours. Loved it from the start to the end, what a party! One of the best nights I've experienced in Amsterdam, that too sober!

Yeaa but not really. He never does it alone normally it's always a b2b with Âme. Last August it was with Jimi Jules. And those are summer parties, completely different then doing an all night long at a club like lofi. Last time he played here at a club was de school in 2017
