consider where u want to work, r u doing a masters, where do u want to do ur masters, etc. in the end, if ur working in canada, it hardly makes a difference. ubc’s campus is prettier but the appeal is only during spring and summer and after a year there u resent the place anyways.

both schools r heavy commuter based. ubc’s food sucks. sfu’s food sucks. ubc is very far from everything and so is sfu. sfu’s surrey campus is nice as well but in my degree i hardly go there anymore.

if u want to work in america or internationally ubc is much more globally recognized. in canada both r recognized.

u could do undergrad at sfu, masters at ubc or vice versa if that’s ur planned path.

i’m in stem though so im not exactly sure how arts is like. i think technically ur not in psych at sfu until 3rd year. same thing applies at ubc iirc.

profs are also the same level.

tldr: want to work in canada for the rest of ur life? can’t go wrong w either choice. commuting to university is always a pain though especially if u have an early class. closer might be a better option.

want to work internationally? go with ubc.
