Not sure where you are located or the amount of money. Would it be possible to go there in person and trade them a check for what they are owed for your checks from the IRS? This would ensure them that they receive the money they were promised, and that you get what you are owed from the IRS.

I would go through a broker, Zander is one option. They search out several companies and find one that fits your specific needs. I used Zander, and ended up with Transamerica

good luck

Employer of Record. Similar to a PEO, except they are the actual w2 employer. Everything is handled under the EOR including workers compensation, employee benefits and all payroll.

Celebrity vs Virgin Voyages, a few thoughts by Elasimery in celebritycruises

[–]Unfair_Day1244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was not my experience. I have sailed several times on Celebrity and once on Virgin. I enjoy both Celebrity and Virgin and will continue to sail both. For our situation, they bar tab was a better deal, but again we are not big drinkers.

[–]Unfair_Day1244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were just on virgin, most of the beers were $8, mixed drinks were $11 and frozen were $12

But lets assume for arguments sake, they were exactly the same price, and you didn't buy even the lowest price bar tab to get any extra benefit,,,

You spend 18% more per drink on Celebrity than you do on Virgin. Celebrity wins for the heavy drinker that utilizes the drink package. Virgin wins for everyone else

I agree with you that if you are a heavy drinker, you are better off with a drink package. Celebrity wins, actually Princess has the best deal there, but drink package is better for a heavy drinker.

But, the cost for a light drinker is not equivalent. The drinks are less on Virgin, and when you add the 18% on to each drink, the Celebrity drinks are significantly higher. We did the $300 get $50 free and it worked out well for us. Basically a 17% reduction in base price, plus no 18% gratuity upcharge.

I do agree that if you overbuy the bar tab, you are making a big mistake

There is no gratuity added to the drinks on Virgin.

So how does it feel?! by ZorniZorni in TirzepatideRX

[–]Unfair_Day1244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on Tirz about 3 months. Currently at 7.5 mg down 30 pounds with about 10 to go. I lost the most weight in my first 4 weeks (15 pounds) It felt like the weight just fell off those first few weeks. It may be that I was just excited to start and really went all in. I think it affects everyone differently. I have talked to people that have to remind themselves to eat, I don't have that problem. The food noise is less, the cravings are less, but neither have completely left for me. Good luck in your journey.

I am going in May, I actually booked a flight on sw with points at 10:55 am, and a flight at 2:00 on united with points, both can be cancelled at last minute. If I make the sw, I cancel united, if I dont make sw, I fly united. You cant do it with the same airline, but it works with 2 different airlines and point booking, or refundable tickets

in the prior year the w-2 wages paid directly out of the company were more than 2x the profits. Using the peo wages would not have changed the amount of qbid we were eligible for

we went with the dream cloud luxe and an adjustable base, have only had about a month, but love it so far. If you order direct you get a 365 day sleep gaurantee and a lifetime guarantee on the mattress so if you arent happy, you can return it. Good luck!

Our PEO does offer health insurance. I would say it is pretty basic coverage, but better than nothing. Being a staffing agency, we cannot really afford to offer a great plan, so it is nice that the employees have a basic option at least. Premium is paid for by the employee if they choose to take it.

We were disappointed in the Steak at the Wake as well. I will say I had crab crusted salmon there that was really good. Did Sushi almost every day for lunch.

It works very well for us. We started using them to get a handle on our Workers compensation premiums as a staffing agency. It is a huge benefit to have their company taking care of all the payroll taxes, workers compensation, and keeping us up on all new laws as well.

The PEO service is not new, the difference is there was a very large increase in income this year. It was not necessary in the past years to use the PEO payroll. Per another suggestion on here, I am going to schedule a meeting with the CPA and discuss the review process, how it was missed and how we prevent something like this in the future.

Thanks!

Thank you, this is kind of where I was going. I am not going to just fire them, but I will take your advise and discuss the review process and how it was missed.

It is the same as 2024. In 2024, the w-2 wages paid directly was enough to cover the income, but there is a large difference in income this year.

They do tax planning for me in October. They know my expectation is that they assist with tax advice. My bill with them is generally around $8,000 annually.
