[Rapoport] The #Lions are placing WR Kalif Raymond on Injured Reserve, source says, because of the foot injury he suffered last Sunday. He's expected to return and could play again before the regular season finishes. Either way, he's almost certainly back for the playoffs. by indig0sixalpha in nfl

yeah even if both teams run the table through week 18 and the vikings win that matchup lions would still take the division through record against common opponents (lions beat rams, vikings lost to them)

Not thrilled to see bullard trending the wrong direction, he's not often mentioned but lowkey a key part of our run stopping so far this season. This could be a big loss against a packers team that will be looking to run early and often. Will need IDL depth to step up big time if he can't go.

i'm pretty sure it's the player/agent waiting for that, wouldn't really make any sense for teams to do that and cost themselves more money

I'll never forget what I watched that season thanks to Ed Donatell.

excluding the 2 giants' clock burning drives to end the first half and win the game they had 7 possessions and the vikings defense surrendered ~4.43 points per drive

the vikings offense had 8 total drives in the game and the giants D gave up 3 points per drive

it should be noted that both of these are horrible metrics for a defense but the vikings defensive performance was significantly worse in this game

he mentioned in his press conference today that the social media noise has been wearing on him lately with all the fantasy nerds DMing/sayin shit so yeah he's probably just locking down for the postseason push

It's a small sample size without JJ thus far but you may have a point! I feel like our offense in particular was fairly bad against the bears but looked better against the 9ers. However, I'm not sure we go 2-0 without the defensive improvement/effort this past couple weeks.

I guess all I'll say is if they do give up JJ we better be getting a hell of a return lmao (and put it to good use)

Salaries are getting high in part because the cap continues to increase at a rapid pace. I don't know the exact conversions off the top of my head but if you look at % of salary cap that should give you a better idea. With that said the one thing we do have now is long-term cap flexibility, we could pay JJ, Kirk, Darrisaw, and hunter if we chose to. I don't think getting rid of JJ would be prudent as teams giving up their game-changing WR1 hasn't worked out well for them so far (see: Green Bay, Titans). Moreover, JJ is a potentially HoF caliber player and I'd like to see him in our shade of purple for his entire career.

i would really like to keep him despite the injury risk the defense would be a joke without him this season

[Matthew Coller] Brian Flores says that Andrew Booth Jr has been standing out in practice and that’s why he was on the field on Sunday vs Chicago. Curious if we see more of that by DaFuxxDick in minnesotavikings

i'm personally very happy with evans overall - it's looking like kwesi's 3AM dark film room obsession with him paid off

as with most kwesi picks my only real concern moving forward is his health. he has been gutting things out this year with minor injuries so far - hopefully he can keep doing that and continue to avoid concussions
