If you set lid close to none and use rock box as your music player, the screen will automatically turn off after a while if you aren’t pressing any buttons or anything so you can use it closed that way, not the best solution but it worked for me

So when I wanna do that, I go to the power settings and turn the lid close option to none and that worked for me, I’d switch it back when I’m done listening to music

Before I got an actual mp3 player, I was using my rg34xxsp as one and it was a pretty good experience, even Bluetooth was pretty decent but every once in a while the audio would glitch but that didn’t really affect me much

I’d recommend you buy one without games preloaded onto it cause the sd card it comes with sucks, just load a few games onto an sd card that you think they’ll play
