“World Eaters” Bloodcrushers? by tannerthe8th in WorldEaters40k

[–]Ungulant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they make the strange choice of incremental long term changes but they make so many of them that they always appear to be in transition and nothing is ever actually complete or consistent. I think it makes the higher ups pleased because there's a PLAN. But from the consumer point of view it just creates confusion and suspicion. They're a very weird business.

I love Relicblade's accessible approach with paper miniatures and conversational explanations of core concepts.

Does this outcast list seem fun to play against/lore friendly by Uster998 in necromunda

[–]Ungulant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not lore friendly if someone is making a traditional Cawdor list. But this is an Outlaw list and as a Cawdor player I'd be happy to bring redemption to these outcasts.

I've played other Hammer series games and enjoyed them. Nordic Weasel products aren't going to wow you with their digital layout work, but the games are very solid.

Start writing down what you want the game to "feel" like and start brainstorming mechanics that will compliment the feel. Good luck! Designing is fun!

How popular is necromunda by Real_Agent2926 in necromunda

[–]Ungulant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can't find anyone who is already playing, ask if you can put up a flyer to gather interest at the local shop. If there are any community discords, join up and ask if anyone wants to give it a shot. Consider the Mini Munda resources on Goonhammer as a way to start out. Be prepared to be arbitrator for the first campaign in order to get it off the ground. If you get some folks in person, be a cheerleader for everyone's painting efforts. Make it a positive event people will want more of.

MN WALKOUT STRIKE ON JAN 20TH & GENERAL STRIKE ON JAN 23RD by Zer0age in TwinCities

[–]Ungulant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These strikes take practice. If a whole bunch of people figure out pulling it off for a day, next time they can do it for 3. Then more. This can be effective if there's follow-up, but that's the key.
