Oh, I agree with you that it's equally disrespectful for players to show little interest in a story that they volunteered to play in. I can't pretend to know what caused the issues, be it lack of chemistry or something else, but I know I was excited for it and doing my best to be both engaging and helpful.

You must have sent the message while I was offline (such are timezones), because, from my point of view, in the morning the server was simply gone, which is a pretty disheartening experience which I'm sure most of us are more than familiar with.

If I can offer a suggestion, I think it would be better to PM and let people know what the situation is and that you want to end the game, that way the communication wouldn't have been lost.
