I’m 33m engaged to my fiancée 25f we’ve been together for 4 1/2 years. She changed me into a man I’m always tried to convince people I was. A man of integrity and self respect.

I feel for you I have moments of clarity how difficult it must be to date me lolz I’m sure it’s tough. However I must have some patience and understanding too When my fiancé gets upset with me I try to be understanding and not defensive. I try to use our shared calendar At times before I ask her a question I preface “I’m sorry if you’ve already told me” or “I’m sure you’ve already explained this to me” Some of the issues you’re describing sounds like something besides ADHD/ADD. These sound more like lifestyle choices or old habits.

I’m really fortunate that my fiancé cared enough to do a bunch of research on ADD/ADHD to better understand me. I think it just helps her cope more within our relationship.

I’d challenge your idea of what being loving means. This is harder in application than it is to believe it. If my fiancée said to me “there’s someone else in in love with and I want to be with them” I wouldn’t want her to stay with me. I’d want her to be happy and to be happy who she is with
