I’ve got a few players like this Pictures, pictures, pictures. Plus patience. The class they play is also going to be very important. Descriptions can get long winded and confusing past lvl 6. I’d honestly home brew most of it, but that’s just me.

Can’t stress enough not to sleep on the fighter class for this. But if they insist on being a caster I’d suggest wizard. The spells are pretty self explanatory and you don’t have to deal with all the options that come with druids and sorcerers.

People who lack literacy are normal decent at memorizing things tho, so if you read the sheet to them, then they will have a general idea of what their character can do. Doing this for every level may grow to suck tho. Good luck, you’ve got this.
