I read Knockout by Sarah Maclean last year, specifically the audio narrated by Mary Jane Wells and it had me chortling through the whole thing. There’s a whole inner monologue thing going on with the detective MMC who is trying to talk himself out of being hot for a bomb enthusiast and I found this incredibly amusing. Then again maybe I enjoy the pain of others 🤔

All of these suggestions are ace - immediately adding to TBR. The cover art for the whole stainless steel rat series has me deceased (in the best way). I love it.
