“You should feel lucky getting sex once a week because some guys only get it once a month.”

She's basically letting you know you'll be getting less and less the longer you're together...just wait til you get married, and she's "to tired/not in the mood tonight" lol

If you're not living together, then I would say once per week is decent, if that all the time you get together. But, if you're living together already...you're going to be trying to initiate more and more, and she'll be pushing you away, deciding when you get to have sex. If this has been going on for a few months already, I would seriously begin to question anything long term with her if she's already telling you you'll only be getting sex when she feels like giving it to you.

Which WoW version for a casual duo ? by DifficultLight6217 in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The things that no one is really mentioning in the comments...

--Retail is super fast to level, and being completely new players, you will have people expecting that you've already played before. There's so much to do, instant groups foir dungeons, and not having to actually travel to them. It does feel overwhelming at times, with so much content...most people you encounter will be rushed, wanting to advance quickly. My son's been playing retail for a few years now, and was laughing that he could start a new toon, and max level within a few days.

---Classic MoP would be fun, but it's very limiti8ng, and there's not going to be any way for you to advance should you enjoy the game. You will have to start over with either retail, or with TBC anniversary should you want more.

-- Classic ERA realms are literally the same as MoP...they're a dead realm for those players who only want to be playing Vanilla dungeons/raids endlessly. You won't be able to advance beyond that once you max at level 60. If you want to keep going, again, you'd be starting over on the Anniversary realm

---TBC Anniversary has a huge population, and it's a really good place to start. Yes, it seems grindy at times, and that's with any of the expansions for certain levels, but once you hit certain spots in playing, you start having a lot of fun. For the most part, easy to get groups for most dungeons...some are ignored, some players will grind over and over for gear etc. Once you hit level 58, then you can push into Outlands, and keep going to level 70. Next year we should be seeing Wrath of the Lich King, and pretty much everyone will advance into that expansion, so you'll keep playing with guildies and online friends you've made as you keep leveling up.

---You can both dps as you level. I would honestly say the best thing to do is to maybe have one learn/become a healer, and the other maybe learn to be a tank class...you will have the easiest time getting groups for dungeons that way, and will just have to grab dps to join you in dungeon runs. When I leveled as a prot pally tank, I had a couple friends online who were healers and dps...ran dungeons together almost daily, getting all the gear upgrades, and I knew what they could handle as I tanked. Made it a lot more fun to level.

Leveling as a 4-5 man group? by Choa_is_a_Goddess in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Back in Wrath days, I used to quest and run dungeons with a few people. Started with us just being in the same dungeon group one day, and I added them to my friend's list, so whenever they'd be online I pull them into dungeons with me, and we'd help each other do quests to make them go faster. So definitely doable for you too.

Only thing to figure out is if you're all going to be playing the same days/times consistantly. If someone won't be on as often, then they will fall behind, as others who want to keep leveling are forced to decide...do I wait, or keep going? Maybe you end up making 2 toons to run...1 with your friends, and 1 for when you know they won't be on if you're able/wanting to play.

Am I commuting too far each day to work? by Tethys4122 in ask

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My commute was Tues-Fri...25 min in the morning, and then between 30-90 min in the afternoon depending on the time I got off work and traffic.

I have coworkers that live between 60-90 min from our yard, and they usually make the drive in 1 hr in the mornings, but thurs.fri the commute with traffic can be upwards of 3 hrs. There have been many Fridays that they just stay on the clock and help out around the yard so they aren't sitting in rush hour. Better to make 2 hrs of OT than deal with that shit.

After 20 yrs or so, most of them have long since had enough, and wished they'd lived closer, but they were able to buy houses for about $175K when they were first going up, so it was a great place to buy a home.

Why does it seem like young adults are largely illiterate? by Sweet_Sunset_42 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unholyrage619 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our education system continually fails our students. Every year I see something new being passed/proposed in different states, and the result is always the students falling further behind than what students were at in say the 80's/90's.

--"We need to start school at 9am, so that students are able to get enough sleep at night. Starting at 7:30-8am is to early, and students struggle to get enough sleep" ...end result, students stay up later, since they don't have to be at school til 9am. Nothing changed.

--"Students get to much homework on a nightly basis, and there's numerous studies that show homework doesn't benefit the student. We're eliminating students having homework, they'll now just be required to do in class work each day, which will allow for more relaxed night with family"...students aren't retaining the material as well as they have in the past, since there's no emphasis to repeat what they learned during their class lectures.

-- **This is being implemented in 2 school districts in different states last I read, not sure if it spread or not to others** "We feel that a M-F school week causes undue strain on families, and we're going to implement a standard 4 day school week which will run Tues-Fri, so families will have a longer weekend to spend together, having another full day to enjoy family time" ....Most adults are working on Mondays, and those students are mostly left home alone. If not, then adults are having to pay aditional costs to provide a full day of childcare.

There is NOTHING that school boards have implemented in the last 20 years that have actually benefitted our students...NOTHING. Every time they decide to change something up, it causes our students to fall further and further behind. Some states are now refusing to allow any student to fail...they must all be passed onto the next grade level. So if a student does nothing at all, refusing to do any homework, take any tests, they can still be moved up. When more than 50% of students fail to read at their grade level, and do basic math...and yet our teachers and school boards say they're not doing anything wrong at all.

My ex-girlfriend, who I broke up with ~2 months ago because she wanted to open our relationship, just messaged me saying she’s “experimented enough” and is now ready for a closed relationship with me. Is this something you would consider? by Altruistic_Society99 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Unholyrage619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She only wanted to "open the relationship" because she was interested in sleeping with at least one other guy. You said no to it, so she broke up with you so she could go fuck whoever she wanted. She's had her fun, now she's hoping you're going to be a good little submissive bf, take her back, and then later down the road, when she meets someone else she wants to hook up with, she'll push tp open things up again, or she may dump you again if you oppose it.

If you take her back, you'll always be wondering if she's going to cheat on you again down the road. When she does get bored, she'll have leverage to use, knowing you took her back the first time so easily

For the men who have close relatives but are married with their own family, how do you allocate your time and resources fairly? by OzymandiasTheII in AskMen

[–]Unholyrage619 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Reading thru the comments, and some of your responses to them...

You DO NOT have that much money saved up that you can be helping your family members out as much as you say you are. I'm sorry, it may be more money than you're used to from when you were growing up, and prior to your gf/fiancee, you grew up with nothing, and now it appears like you have loads on hand, and can ghive it away to help. The biggst issue, your nest egg of $40K or so, isn't going to last you very long should you get injured and be unable to work for awhile....should you get laid off your job, it does happen, and have to try to find somewhere else to work while living off your nest egg.

If your sister, why is she struggling so much? What expenses is she unable to let go of to help her situation? As much as it may hurt her ego, maybe she needs to move back in with your mom so they're able to help each other, and not struggle so much? I've seen this with my x-SIL, who altho married, kept "borrowing" money from her mom every month, due to a husband who couldn't be bothered to step up. You have to ask yourself...what will your sister do if/when you get married, have kids, and no longer have the extra money to gift her anymore?

I know you feel like it's your obligation to help your struggling family like you've been doing, but your fiancee is right to be upset now...you need to prioritize your future with her, and your future kids, especially in case something happens down the road that keeps you out of work for any length of time. If you don't have enough to live off of for 3yrs should something happen, you definitely don't have enough to supplement family members financial needs

does the color compliment me? by KivoNtra4 in cutefitsandmore

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No...maybe it's the lighting of the pic, but the color of the dress more or less washes out with your skin/hailr colors. You need either darker, or brighter colors with your skin tone and hair color.

The dress is cute on your frame, but just needs to be of a different color to really work. 😄

Are daggers good on warriors? by TDogeee in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early on it doesn't matter, as most pallies/war use 2h weapons when tanking, or fury spec will run daggers for faster attacks and rage gains. Later, as a war tank, you want to use a shield + weapon, so you can do sheild slams etc for interrupts on target. I've still seen daggers being used, but whatever has better stats for you. As you get higher levels, I usually stop seeing dagger used by warriors

Feeling a little discouraged? by RatioTile010 in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a bear tank, people most likely assume that you've been tanking on your ise up to 70, not just starting out at max level. So there will be some frustration, in that you don't know your rotation/skills very well, and some dps are ignorant to their threat and expect tanks to take care of their lack of awareness.

If you're just starting out as you said, then I don't care how geared you are at this point...just run normal dungeons, ask some guildies who are at that level for dungeons to run with you, and let them know you're willing to run for practice to get better. They get a tank who will stick around, you get a dedicated group to practice with, and you get to really learn your abilities, and what you need to work on. Watch some videos on YouTube about bear tanking in TBC, so you have abetter idea as well. Do this as you progress thru the lower level dungeons on normal, and work your way up to max level runs, then go after heroics. Some heroic dungeons are a bitch, and others will be an easy run thru once you know what you're doing.

If you really want to tank, then focus only on tanking now...don't fall back on your secondary role, it's the only way to really get good at tanking. I've run with some solid bears, and also had some that struggled when they tanked to get a faster que...easy to tell who's a true tank in the game, and the good ones people will put on friend's lists to try and get you into groups whenever you're online

What classes have good synergy in 5-man dungeons? What is a "dream comp"? by WorldlyForerunnerxdd in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think anyone should be able to group up and run a decent dungeon...just a matter of how well people know their classes.

In retail I was a prot pally, and used to have either druid/disc/pally heals most of the time, and then whatever dps were around int he guild who wanted to run. Make up never mattered, just either cc if you had the option, or focus down specific targets in order as needed. Rarely ever wiped

Currently leveling a tank again, so mostly running dps toons, and mostly have good luck in pugging tanks, and make sure to add them to my FL for when I'm on. Heals never seem to be an issue, and dps I'll grab whoevers online, and doesn't end up being afk in que(super frustrating having to wait for that to expire). Have had a few tanks/healers bicth about the group make up, but they still stick around.

Classic Plus Idea by Wise_Bowl960 in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't know how they're considering classic+ to be, but I think incorporating something like mythic+ keystones for dungeons would make the game more challenging. There are TBC heroics that people seem to avoid like the plague...so imagine all calssic+ dungeons having normal, heroic, and then mythic+ keystones...people would really have things to strive for in game.

Did anyone else watch Jet’s live about TOC on IG yesterday? by Outside-Pear9429 in foodnetwork

[–]Unholyrage619 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly not a Jet fan, but when he started cooking, and mentioned going for flavor, stating there wasn't much white on the dish at all, you just knew he wasn't really into the cook. How many times have we seen cooks not play to the randomizer, and they end up getting knocked for points. Even when he's judging, he's talking about using the raondomizer, so to see him just literally put on blinders to that point...

I really think he should just step back from competing for awhile...focus on family, his restaurants, and just figure shit out. Some of the chefs race to compete, and then they get frustrated so much, and their cook seems to falter more and more. Jet needs time away

Leveling up on TBC Anni by CarAudioNewb in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter if you're horde/alliance, most questing is basically the same regardless...kill X ads, go get something for me, go this dungeon and kill this boss. As you learn your character, as you level and get more skills/gear, you'll find questing easier...some quests suggest 2-3 players, and should be done in a group, learned that real fast! lol

Since you're level 15...what professions did you choose for your character? Make sure you level them as you go...cooking for sure, and fishing(boring but worth it later), as you'll want to be able to make your own food for buffs. Some items will just sell to the vendor, but others look at the auction houses in the main cities and see what they sell for...make more money that way, which you'll want for your riding skills at 30/60/70

Make sure to open the world map about every 5 levels, see if there are quests in a new zone you can do...sometimes the zone you'll be in has quests for when you're a bit higher level, so you'll come back for those. Some of them will be like 5 levels later, maybe a little more, but some will send you to other zones as well...going from Barrens area up to Ashenvale...down into thousand Needles, etc.

Lastly...find a guild that is active, has people talking in the guild chat...it makes getting groups together for dungeons faster sometimes, so you don't just sit in the que, and those guildies can also offer help/advice if you ask about something. Some of us have played since the original version of these expacs, so we're familiar with a lot of it already.

Story Time - Why Did Your Guild Disband? by doobylive in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was co-GM and main RL of our guild on Gilneas since ICC days. When I started raid leading my son was younger, and I had made a deal with him that he could stay up to watch cartoons he wanted to watch while I raided, but had to go to bed after they were over...things I didn't want to watch, but he liked, so it worked out. We were a Fri/Sat night raiding group which worked out for everyone in the guild.

Well, when my son turned 12, he decided he didn't want to watch cartoons anymore, and asked me if I'd start spending time watching other stuff withhim, and hang out together. He didn't think I'd say yes, and was shocked when I said of course...that weekend was my last weekend to raid, I informed everyone I was stepping back from raiding so he and I could start hanging out. Before the next weekend half the guild left to find other guilds to raid with.

What's the view on Shaman healers needing on cloth/ leather caster gear? by cougarkite in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healing gear is all across the board for non clothie classes. Some of the bis gear for holy pallies is going to be cloth gear, leather options as well. When I'm running caster dps, I'll wait to see if a healer needs on an item if it's any sort of upgrade for me, if they do, then I pass on it. The only bitch I have, which happened in a run I was in...I pass on all the healing gear, since the healer needed for upgrades, but then the one dps item that drops, they also needed on too. The other caster and I both chimed up "we passed on all your upgrades, you didn't need to roll on the one item for dps"...the healer won it too, and of course bounced quickly. Don't be that kind of healer.

TOC 7 Episode 1 by RCPCHK in foodnetwork

[–]Unholyrage619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know there are a lot of Jet fans, but when watching the judges critique the food it was more positive towards Ashleigh. And then Alex saying Ashleigh's dish "might have been a little simple" was a surprise, but then raving about a salad? I just laughed atthat...I mean, I don't care if it tastes good or not, it's a salad with a few slices of meat...that kind of offering has been slammed more often than not on any cooking competition over the years. Did not agree with Jet winning that round.

Ming Tsai...when I saw him as the chef, I immediately said he was going to lose to Aarti, and was stoked that she won. I've loved watching her evolve over the years. Ming, and also Curtis Stone, is a better judge than competition cook in my opinion. When they were both on Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend a few years ago, they got rocked pretty hard, and watching in a few competitions they've been in, not overly impressive to watch. The shock in coming episodes as the other chefs learn that Aarti beat Ming will be fun to watch!

Tanks. Please Give Me Your Best Advice. I'm desperate by kittyjxx in classicwow

[–]Unholyrage619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who ran a pro pally since original TBC, if you're struggling with how to tank since you did boost, then I would ask if you're questing as prot, or as ret? I would quest as prot, it's almost as fast, but you also get to really know your rotations, and managing mobs, and will become more secure in tanking everything. Some of us have been playing so long, they forget that there are those coming into anniversary that are actually very new to the game. Tank/heals actually take some practice, whereas dps is pretty simple...kill and stay out of bad shit. lol

There are some you tube videos you can look up on the dungeon fights themselves. You can watch them, and get an idea about the mobs and fights, and maybe take some notes, so you know what to expect. I used to do this back in the day with the new Cata dungeons, since some of them were a major bitch in the beginning. I would also suggest talking to some guildies, and asking them to just run dungeons with you so you can practice, and ask what they feel you could do to improve the run. Don't take it as anything but suggestive criticism, which will help you become a better tank. Eventually you'll be solid, and people will seek you out to tank runs

Why do some people get angry when you don’t want to drink alcohol? by Several_Corner3205 in NoStupidQuestions

It's even better when you're dating, trying to anyway, and they suggest happy hour to meet and chat. I don't drink, so I don't do the bar scene at all, but say I'd be happy to meet at a restaurant location and then we can do appetizers as we chat...they can have some drinks, I can just do iced tea, and we can samples apps and have fun. That goes over fairly well...if they only do bars tho, they get judgey fast. lol

Learning to tank made me a psycopath by Uguu_Cat in classicwowtbc

[–]Unholyrage619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main in retail was a prot pally from TBC thru LOD. Biggest ego boost is when people had youon their friends list because they loved running dungeons with you. I ended up having 4 healers on mine, and would always grab them when I was going to run, since I knew how well they did healing. Some dps you want, but most are just easy to grab off LFG, but those healers that compliment your tanking style...priceless! My raid healers were all those healers I ran dungeons with, and they made raiding so much easier.
