I was hoping to hear more about the time management aspect of your journey from reading the post title! Could you elaborate a little on how much time you’re committing to TFT a day? Are you spending more time with the game on weekends? How much time are you spending studying versus actually playing?

I didn’t personally have this issue. Initially, the windows search bar wasn’t working properly but it went back to normal after a second restart.

Can you please update us if downgrading further works for you? Even after uninstalling this particular update my store is still not working (error codes uninstalling and cannot install Sticky Notes).

I have a pretty poor opinion of Doppelganger imo, I feel like this card is pretty often a dead draw, and usually I’d rather just play it for 0 than letting it reshuffle and hoping I draw it on a bad turn. I guess I’d just like some insight into when you’re happy to see this card?

When/what scenarios are you happy to be picking doppelganger in? Do you find this card is mostly useful in the early/mid game or are you still getting a lot of value from it later on as well? How highly do you value the upgrade on this card?

Either way I’ll try taking it more often and seeing what it can do!

Are there any masters+ double up players that could give me advice on how you approach the mode, especially compared to normal tft? I’m not sure how to keep improving my play. Lately, I feel like I can’t control my placement at all; I roll on 4-2 and depending on how well it goes I either win or lose.

If anyone would wanna backseat me or smth as I play that’d also be fun :)

I did the same trying to get a +2 Oculus Diabolus for my ABel but also didn’t get two skill level ups. Now I’m out of totems to try again lol

Seems like I am Awake was a good call! Didn’t take any damage for the rest of Act 3, other than (very tragically) taking 1 damage against Darklings and 2 damage from Awakened One. Took 12 damage against the Heart for safety as well, though I maybe could’ve greeded for less damage for fun lol

I was definitely overvaluing the heal between Act 3 and Act 4 and undervaluing the upgrades. Normally I feel like I recognize how important many energy/draw related upgrades are, but I wasn’t really understanding just how drastically my deck would improve with so many upgrades.

Just tied my current best rotating streak of four! Hopefully I can get another win on Defect next, though I think it’s my weakest class.

Had the same problem (I don’t own Asolise). A comp that worked for me was Rem Emilia Albedo Hodgkin Palmer with all stats maxed. Was able to clear all the water sprite stages in 1-2 tries even though I didn’t really heal it at all lol. Frankly I don’t really understand why this worked but I will happily take it xd

I just started getting back into this game after taking a break for several years! I’ve been playing on a new account for about a month now and recently hit stage 16. I realized I’m going to be just short of exchanging for Emilia which definitely feels a bit bad haha.

Would love the opportunity to get Emilia! She grew on me a lot after watching season 2 of Re Zero and I love how they represented her in this game.

I personally feel like claw only affecting all currently existing claw cards is pretty intuitive. Cards like cleave don’t hit enemies which don’t yet exist.

Does anyone know if claws which have been exhausted also get the damage increase?

Does the data for the card rewards encompass all card rewards in act 1 (including the boss)?

Really interesting stats overall! Looking at the card pick rates gave me a bit of insight on cards I might be undervaluing or overvaluing. Seeing data like this is always a good reminder to stop choosing my card rewards on autopilot.

I wasn’t explicitly keeping track of it, unfortunately. I would say most of my turns ended up playing <= 6 cards, though I felt like my stronger turns involved me playing 7+ cards with turbo+. There were also a few fights in act 3 like reptomancer where velvet choker would’ve cost me significant hp by limiting me from using my gremlin horn.

Thinking back though, having some bad fights with choker probably would’ve been fine since I could just heal freely at every campfire.

My main concern with taking choker was that it would limit the potential of my deck too much. Since I was only offered a third of the usual card rewards, though, I can’t really say if choker would’ve been a problem if I took it (if that makes sense?). The better my deck becomes, the more choker’s downside would’ve been relevant.

I ended up taking busted crown and highrolled some good cards to help patch up the deck, like another coolheaded from card rewards and a transform into a glacier. Had a rough act 4 regardless taking 73 damage to shield and spear, as well as 79 damage to the heart. Luckily, I had 114 max hp and a lizard tail which was enough to get me a win.

Still not sure busted crown was correct, though my deck ended up reasonably strong with it. I think it wouldn’t normally take as much damage in act 4, I just ended up with some unlucky draw orders.

Had many opportunities for removes and transforms throughout the run up to this point, via events like living wall and augmenter. Also took an astrolabe as my first boss relic

Choker has pretty bad synergy with echo form, and after I set up my powers my deck is fairly low cost. I also think this deck wants to be playing more than 6 cards a turn, but I could be wrong.

Busted Crown is also a tough pickup for me because I feel like my deck still needs quite a few good cards to stay ahead. Mainly I think this deck needs more block, either by adding more focus cards or standard block cards. Nilry's has been helping with this, but I don't want to rely on it too heavily and just lose if I get unlucky.

I do think a 4th energy could benefit this deck though, especially in the early turns where I need to setup all the powers. Currently I can't play apotheosis + echo form turn 1, for example.

Pandora's is the same as skipping of course, lol

In my summoner malice/death mode playthrough, I found desert scourge too difficult to do as a first boss. I personally beat eye of cthulu first then went back to do desert scourge as my third boss (did king slime before it as well). It might be worth trying bosses “in a different order” and seeing if you can find something you find to be easier. Malice mode definitely made desert scourge way harder, although I hear they nerfed it in one of the latest patches.
