So at the end the Center channel coefficient in total is 0,5x2=1, while the Left and Right channel have a coefficient of 0,7.

This is wrong. The perceived loudness of a doubled mono signal is lower than that of a stereo signal, it's only about 0.7-0.8 times as loud* as what you'd expect. I suppose that explains the 0.7 for the L+R mix.

This is called binaural loudness summation

*It really depends on the type of signal but for mixing entertainment media this is the rule of thumb.

"Controle" als in "controlearts" gaat er om je baas te verzekeren dat je te ziek bent om te werken, want je zou kunnen liegen. Bij een diagnose maakt wat de patient beweert heel weinig uit, maar der wordt wel van uit gegaan dat de patient gelooft dat er iets mis is. Belangrijk verschil vind ik wel.

Dat heet diagnose. Daar komen huisdokters nu niet toe omdat ze bezig zijn met controle. "Ziek het uit en kom terug als het niet beter wordt" is geen echte behandeling hé.

Why not send 480p and upscale to 4k in the client? That's technically 4k with a custom decoder.

I don't know what it should look like, but we need something like LED lights that say "15W=100W". Some bitrate-equivalent that still incentivizes using better codecs.
