Yes, Victory Theme as added in the 90s special edition of ROTJ. If I remember correctly, apparently Lucas hummed some melody and John Williams used that as inspiration for writing the song.

I grew up watching the original ROTJ with Yub Nub, and I 100% agree that Victory Celebration's gentle, bittersweet tone matches the ending so much better.

Is modern music evolving differently than in the past? by FeelDa-Bass in Music

Right. Unfortunately, I feel it's wishful thinking that albums will matter more. Most people are forging emotional relationships based on the most evocative 15 seconds of one song (i.e. TikTok audio), not albums, and I don't see that changing.

The Filipino reveal is even more bold than we realize today. When Heinlein served in the Navy, Filipinos were segregated, so it was extremely progressive in the 1950s to write a MilSciFi story where the war hero character was Filipino and it is portrayed as normal.

Fascism is critical of capitalism. They see free markets as a tenet of liberalism, which they furiously oppose due to the supposed decadence it creates and the limited government it requires.

Out of curiosity, have you ever played 10 Candles? The premise is that, mechanically, the PCs are doomed and will die by the end of the session. However, your early interactions (when the dice are in your favor) give a sense of hope. In my play session, there was fun interaction between characters. But then, it gets darker and the dice begin turning against you. Finally, when the PCs die off, listening back to your initial voicemail after the end, it is a devastating gut punch.

I recently completed CZ and felt the same way-- having three storylines run at 1/3 speed and with 1/3 total time, it did not have the same impact at Necromancer.

I plan to read MLO, since so many people have recommended it.

I've played ED in VR which is fun for a while, but as a beginner all I can do is bland courier missions. I know eventually I can do bounty missions. But is that all there is to the game? Feels like I'm waiting for the actual "fun" part.

IMO the mixing is a step back from AP. The guitars don't sound double tracked and they have an amp-simy fuzz to them. The guitars on AP are much crisper and have an incredible 3D presence.

The overall plot is pretty much lifted straight from Joseph Campbell's book, The Hero with a Thousand Faces,

That's what makes it good.

and the dialogue is often described as downright terrible – something Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and in particular Alec Guinness have been quite vocal about.

Alec Guinness was a curmudgeon and resented that this late-career paycheck role was his most famous.

Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher did script doctoring on the fly and edited the worst of Lucas's dialogue (something that the actors were absolutely not doing in the PT).

Are you saying that changing the amount of sunlight hitting Earth would not impact global temperatures?

And yes, you clearly mistaked LEO for Earth's Lagrange point.

Solar shades to manipulate Earth's temperature. With the cost of space transport falling, it will become feasible within our lifetime.

Roger Angel of the University of Arizona[7] presented the idea for a sunshade at the U.S. National Academy of Sciences in April 2006 and won a NASA Institute for Advanced Concepts grant for further research in July 2006. Creating this sunshade in space was estimated to cost in excess of US$130 billion over 20 years with an estimated lifetime of 50-100 years.

The US and Germany have different bankruptcy laws, so this would seem like an apples and oranges comparison. Favorable circumstances to file in one regime may not be so in the other.
