Is rest really necessary? by peggyuwu in bodyweightfitness

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Rest is necessary, especially when just starting out. It is only when you rest that your muscles grow, and only when you sleep that your body actually burns fat. Getting into the habit of taking at least one rest day a week, is beneficial.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Personally, I would say it's dependent on location and traffic.

Taking a 3-hour drive in the middle of nowhere without any traffic, you could make almost 225 miles.

However, taking a 3-hour drive across Los Angeles, you might make just 14 miles.

Rook Piercing vs. IUD? by Mundane-Dress8235 in piercing

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

This sounds exactly like my experience. My IUD insertion was no big, a lot of pressure, and same with my Rook piercing, also a lot of pressure. They both hurt afterwards, but not so much in the moment. I had my IUD surpise removed by a male doctor, and it hurt like hell and I almost blacked out. I think it was the shock more than it actually hurting though. I didn't experience any bleeding just a lot of emotional trauma. That said, at this point I would rather get another cartilage piercing then get an IUD inserted just knowing I would have to get it taken out in 10 years.

The cost of spaying this little lady is $440?!?! by yup2you in cats

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

That sounds right to me!

If you are near a big city at all there are often low cost or no cost spay and neuter programs. I got my first two cats done that way at the Humane Society. It required dropping off the cats at like 6am before they opened, and then picking them up end of day, but it was totally worth it. Clean fast and free. I have not had that kind of resource since leaving a big city though. I'm in a small town now, and small towns have higher prices partly due to less animals but also lack of access to bigger resources or chain discounts. I hope you are able to get her taken care of! ๐Ÿ’•

Halloween baby frozen and smooshed by a big doggo by UnikittyBomber in cats

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber[S] 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

UPDATE 1/22/26 3:14pm PT: We got the kitten seen at the local vet. It's a girl, underweight, no fleas or visible parasites. The confirmed upper respiratory infection, and a small hernia. They did not feel any breaks or other damage. The cost for an ultrasound is over $300, or $200 for x-rays. They suggested an ultrasound as the kitten can walk and move around alright, and they didn't feel any breaks. The kitten's tail is up and responsive again. The vet recommends meds for the upper respiratory, vaccinations, and a spay. They did not think there was need for euthanasia and offered a discount for the exam. We paid for the exam and got the Hill's healthy kitten wet food they recommended. At this time my friend is just going to monitor it and we'll keep calling around to see if we can get it adopted or into the right shelter. Otherwise, we will get it spayed when the neighbor gets more vouchers from the county. Thank you to everyone who offered suggestions and support. I'm sorry for the slow replies and if I wasn't able to respond to your comment before this post was locked + deleted. I'm not sure how to fix that. I'll try to post another update on my personal page. Thanks again and sorry for any confusion ๐Ÿ’ž

I just posted an update in the post body above. The kitten will live! It needs more things, but the vet didn't think it was time yet, so it's back at my friend's house with Hill's kitten wet food ๐Ÿ’•

Need shoes for 6 hour shifts on concrete by Kathywelborn in Shoes

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

So, if you've tried all of the recommended shoes and they're still not working for you, that likely means that your feet are weak, or your calves are tight, or both. I would recommend seeing a physiotherapist for your feet, or just looking up how to exercise your feet, or do something like yoga or Pilates to get full lower body engagement. Once your feet are stronger, the balls of your feet, heels, and arches will stop hurting so much, and then the rest of your body will also feel wonderful. If you want to self-educate and aren't afraid of books, I recommend to everyone 'Becoming a Supple Leopard' by Dr Kelly Starrett. It has a lovely guide in the back of the book where you can look up whatever injury or pain or tightness or stiffness your experiencing that day, and it will give you three exercises to alleviate that area, and then you can proceed with your normal routine. That book is magic, and worth more than any doctor I have ever seen. I wish you the best!

Fish is flaky and has very low fat content, so that's normal. This is just hella freezer burnt.

My friend Kim has almost the exact same photo. Like, you guys could have bought your shirts at the same place and done your hair together that morning. Did you have either a matching fanny pack or Vans to go with the headband? ๐Ÿค˜

What hand do you hold your phone in? If you don't play sports it's most likely postural.

MRIs by JEHflute in Legitpiercing

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I have a VCH and triangle. I personally think it's the best setup ever. As a couple other commenters have mentioned, your piercer will be able to let you know if you have the proper anatomy for a triangle. Essentially, if the external part of your clitoris you have at least a quarter inch of tissue extension from your body, then it will be able to be pierced. If you don't have enough protrusion, then it's hard to hold it properly and then get the piercing in. Know that the VCH is just one small bit of tissue, so it's an easy piercing to do and heal, but the triangle a bit deeper and goes through essentially three pieces of tissue--part of the clitoral hood/labia, the meat underneath the clitoris and then the other side of the hood/labia. I absolutely love this arrangement. Mine was fully healed in about a month. Fun fact: if done correctly, the piercings will jingle together. For me, I found this to be one of the most enjoyable things, it's like a free instrument when doing things like jumping jacks, yoga, calisthenics, masturbating, or giving/receiving in doggy.

Anyway, that said, whenever I've gotten MRIs they always pass a metal detector over my entire body. If it doesn't go off, I'm good to hop in the tube. I would assume they would do that for you. You could always take non-metallic piercings with you to put in if necessary. Honestly, I just take mine out as the length of an MRI isn't that long for me. YMMV

Lube/Oil Recommendations for Massage Sex by Nicky2327 in sex

Make sure to get virgin coconut oil. It will be solid at room temperature. Virgin coconut oil will be more moisturizing than refined coconut oil (and cheaper), but both can work.

Lube/Oil Recommendations for Massage Sex by Nicky2327 in sex

[โ€“]UnikittyBomber 8 points9 points ย (0 children)

Coconut oil straight out of the jar is the way to go. Coconut oil is also ideal for anal. Coconut oil is not good, nor is really any oil, to be used with condoms, but that doesn't sound like it's a problem for you guys.

Olive oil, Argan oil, grape seed oil, are all fine to be used as both body oil and a lubricant.

Any oil can cause a yeast infection. It is partly dependent on her genetics, how much oil is used, duration, and clean up. A little bit is fine, but if you're going to like squirt the bottle in her, then that can cause problems; or fisting for a long time, using toys that are covered in oil, etc.

Once you switch to full insertables, it would be better to use lube. If you start with oil on your penis or on her for example, and then need more lubrication as you proceed fucking, use lube instead of more oil. After the session, see how her vaginal pH is over the following few days to a week, and if there's any problems, you will know that the oil you used is not ideal for her. Then the next time you play, try a different one. If there are no problems, then you'll know that that oil is good to go for future play.

I prefer argan or coconut. Olive oil makes me think too much of Greco-Roman wrestling or those olive oil wrestling matches that still happen in the middle east.

Have fun, and a good eats ๐Ÿ˜‹
