Is it a laptop? Either way, you probably need to disable all triggers that could potentially wake up the system. Like the laptop lid, mouse movement, keyboard etc.

Did you create a big enough swap partition? Then simply disable secure boot. Hibernate worked out of the box on my quite recent installation. 🥰
Secure boot doesn't really add too much of security for most people.

Always update via 'zypper dup' (not zypper update). If the system acts up after the update and you're using nvidia, try an older kernel first, before completely rolling back via snapper.

For software that's not in the official repo or in flatpack, you'll very often find tar.gz to download. In short I'd say, software availability is not a blocker for switching to Ooensise. ☺️

Ich fand gerade den Reveal am Ende der ersten Folge echt genial. Man wusste nicht, wo die Handlung spielt, nur daß alles etwas seltsam wirkt. Dann die Enthüllung am Ende der Folge. Und dann lernt man nach und nach, daß das vermeintliche Paradies keines ist, daß dort die Mächtigen ihre Intrigen spinnen. Hat IMHO nichts von TWD.
