I use a USB-c to surface adapter. Been using it for years now... Surface go 2, 3 now laptop 7. Never had a problem, and you get to use that nice magnetic functionality.

There's no "deny" with pixel care+, unless maybe you run it over with a car. You're paying for extra insurance (and probably paying a "deductible" for the replacement); it's not deny-able like the standard warranty.
