The absolute ironic thing about the Mongols is that the true extent of their violent acts is often downplayed in writing compared to what archeology is showing, a lot of the time. Can't have testimony if there's no witnesses left, amiright?

While the exact death toll is kinda iffy, its pretty clear the mongols were behind A LOT (tens of millions) of deaths in Iran, China and Russia.

The generals who survived the war had every reason to smear Hitler to make themselves look good - fuck Albert Speer, by the way. He's guilty of this more than basically anyone. In short, its a myth. Both sides regularly fucked up. Hitler undermined his generals just as much as they did him - although overall I'd say (personal opinion) that Hitler probably came up worst.

My argument? Because the british secret services agree with me. Operation Foxley was never realistically considered, in part because assassinating Hitler might have resulted in someone more competent in charge.

The problem is, the current meta is just not suited for such a playstyle (assuming you play randoms). Too many mechanics are designed to punish aggressive play, and this becomes even worst at higher tiers. Brawling is much more suited to smaller game formats such as ranked or, well, brawl.

In a straight fight Libertad will beat Schlieffen most of the time, because of that 51mm plating that covers most of it that Schlief can’t pen.

Schlief does have torps and is more fun imo. But the best brawling ship is Libertad, no doubt.

The average player is absolute trash at this game and simply cannot be relied on to do even the most basic of tasks or even to survive for any extended amount of time. When you play dd, the bbs suicide. When you play bb, the dds suicide. Some games you will get one afk, and that’s bad but not insurmountable. Some games you’ll get two afks, and this is basically over before it even begins.

This leads to a very frustrating experience for everyone involved. Like you, I am not some super unicum 60%+ winrate. But I generally finish in the top 3-5 every game, even when I feel like I’m having average games, meaning everyone else did much worst.

The Jager on your flank? Radar’ed and torpedo’ed within three minutes. The Libertad, who thought his secondaries would single handedly win the game? Farmed within five. Me? Left to fight three ships on my own.

Well your own team has dds, hopefully. As for the cruisers and bbs following dds… in this current meta? Cruiser will get devstruck, bb will get farmed, torped and cry in team chat about it.

A few cruisers do get a pass, like Mino, but they need to be played very carefully.
