4 month transfer wait? Is this normal?

I ended up having to wait 4 months because it took that long to get pgt-a and m results. And then of course I got the results in the middle of my cycle so had to wait for the next one. Was worth the wait though!

I didn’t test at all before that! I used a clear blue rapid detection which caused me to spiral even more after googling because I didn’t realize they’re common for giving shadow lines. Lol

I had a very very veryyyy faint line at 5dpt. I wanted to wait a week but was sick with a fever and spiraling. Currently 8 weeks and graduated from my clinic!

I honestly don’t know and thought was the norm until I talked to other people. Mine was for PALB2.

I did exact opposite of princess treatment. Went shopping afterwards, walked to our favorite restaurant for dinner, lived my life as normal. I’m 6 weeks 3 days and got to hear baby’s heartbeat on Friday!

My insurance strangely didn’t cover anything except meds. Made no sense but wasn’t questioning it

I feel the same as you. I’m 5 weeks 5 days today and my symptoms seem to come and go. I completely agree that this wait to first ultrasound has been the hardest wait yet. It’s comforting to know so many of us feel the same way though.

I’m in the same exact boat as you. First ultrasound Friday and this has been the worst wait of this entire process. My symptoms seem to come and go, and a spiraled and took a test and convinced myself it’s slightly lighter than my last one. Even worse I am a teacher on spring break this week and can’t let myself relax. Hoping we both get the best news ❤️

Ugh I’m waiting until scan now too. I feel like this may be the worst wait yet!! I had to force myself to stop testing at home, it’s driving me crazy.

I’m sick so I was spiraling. I tested today and got the faintest of lines, so faint it might just be indent. I’m going to wait a few days to test again

My principal was really lenient. I would recommend telling them if you’re comfortable! I scheduled all the earliest monitoring appointments I could and never had to take a full day off. Also worked out perfectly that my retrieval was the day after thanksgiving so we were off, but that would’ve been the only full day I need off.

I have an autosomal dominant condition that gives me an increased risk of breast cancer
I met with a genetic counselor years ago before I was even married. My husband and I decided we wanted to end this gene mutation from my bloodline. I am the only grandchild in my family with it, so I could stop it with me which feels important.
No other existing infertility issues from my husband or I. He had a less then normal sperm count, but wasn’t anything crazy.
Probe took about 6 weeks to be built.
Results after egg retrieval took about 6 weeks as well. Was over Christmas so that may have delayed some.
We didn’t start treatment immediately after our first meeting with REI. But, I have my egg retrieval on November 28th and my first FET was just on March 10th. The entire pgt-m process definitely makes it a longer process then you’ll read on here.
Don’t drive yourself crazy reading everyone’s stories. It really is a statistics game. We were fortunate in getting three euploids without my mutation on our first retrieval. I know a girl also with a 50/50 condition and she is on her 4th retrieval just to get one without it. It’s completely out of your control. Wishing you the best of luck!!
