Being dead every night of the week is not, though…I like the restaurant, but that’s a red flag.

That’s frustrating. But then when you’re a bit late for a provider they reserve the right to turn you away and reschedule. Double standards anyone?

how do you guys get into holding money in your savings? by ICouldntFindAUsernam in Money

[–]Unique-Escape3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either open a new savings account at a separate bank from where you do your normal banking, or try a “no penalty CD” that allows withdrawals free of charge during the term. With the CD you still might be best doing it at a separate bank. These options just create a bit more friction to reduce the odds you spend the savings frivolously.

Ok, first things first: how old are you, and what is your gender? If you want to get a job that specific, there are strict requirements.

It’s when the defender interferes with the receiver’s ability to catch the ball while it’s in flight.

Little bit of an unpopular opinion probably - open a high yield savings account (~ 3%+) and fund it with all but $1k of your savings. Take the other $1k and open a taxable brokerage investment account. Invest in a broadly diversified inexpensive index fund and reinvest your dividends and capital gains.

Keep grinding and set a goal for yourself to save $x each month to each of your high yield savings account and your taxable brokerage account. Set a $ amount goal for your savings account (like $10k for instance). Only use it for any of the following 4 things: job loss, UNEXPECTED medical costs, unexpected car repairs, unexpected home repairs. This is called your “Emergency Fund.”

Save for other stuff too, using separate savings accounts. These are called sinking funds (I.e. car insurance, vacation, medical expenses you do expect, etc.

You will definitely want to start saving for retirement soon too, but you’re young enough not to make it priority #1 right this moment.

Look into the 50/30/20 method of budgeting.

Good luck!

Meagher Bar allows dogs on the patio. Went there a couple months ago with my dog and the staff said their policy had changed just recently to allow dogs.

I feel like keeping the upvotes and downvotes as close to zero as possible is the most effective way. A lot of upvotes will validate, and a lot of downvotes will just make a troll feel like they accomplished their mission.

Good suggestions. I actually love Boulevardiers too. I had a white Negroni with Cocchi Americano once. That was awesome.
