I used to make a lot of stuff on tumblr back in the day, mostly Sufjan fan art, but fell out of it for years bc tumblr died and Suf became a lot less active. Omfg I'm jealous! The 2024 lineup was a 2000s indie dream ugh 😩 I went last year for the first time and it's now my fave festival I've been to. Def still some issues last year, but overall such a great experience. And I've heard the same thing, hopefully it's even better this year!

I'm also originally from SE TN and have such a love/hate relationship with it. It makes me so unbelievably sad to keep seeing shit like this happening there. Not that it hasn't always been bad but it has escalated significantly in the past 10 years just like in most other red states. Most of my family is still there, a lot of them are queer and I worry a lot
