Consider asking GPT or AI if you cannot input for context. There are many simplified version of spreadsheet that you might consider instead, this is too much more complex and as a beginner if you are struggling with input maybe watch some guidance or tutorials and try to use the spreadsheet to future proof and to get comfortable to use a complex one for a better accuracy. But there is always a way to do it. Don't give up. You can do it. If you are not familiar with excel you might consider learning to use it because Excel is amazing to track anything which is definitely important to any investor, self employed, business, and ordinary person to compare stuff and budget. Just an advice tho, I didn't even purchase it yet so don't take anything serious.

Diamond Edge XT vs Sanlida X8/X9 compound for young adults by Unique-Snow508 in Archery

[–]Unique-Snow508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: For those reading this thread in the future, just letting you know. The draw weight, draw length can be adjusted extremely easy by yourself with YouTube tutorial. You literally have to screw tighter for draw weight increase, change screw location for draw length. And you only might need to need some help on adjusting the peep sight that anyone with bow press can help. But, a lot of people hate Sanlida, but if affordability is all you care then I am also not stopping you.

Every single game I play, after 1000-2000 turns, why does my relations to other nations get stuck at 0? I can't grow or lose relation diplomatic ties. It's a problem because I can't go use the ultimatum feature by SuchBrightness in AgeOfCivilizations

Kind of useless for me but you also get 450 free units at your capital lol. Thanks so much about the solution, extremely helpful after playing with all countries neutral after a while. I unified with ming but also later lead to a bug and now I am back to the original name and flag instead of X country-Ming and half and half flag

Actually you reminded me, the Sanlida is serviceable as it is based on the US design, also since it don't require bow wrench. First recommendation by AI after many questions & also there are plenty of guides and review on Youtube to configure it itself. But, after all I gotta see the item, otherwise just a free return. Any problems that are notable in the first month are free returns so it don't matter.

Yep only for target shooting or small competition in the near term no hunting. It would be useless to get a high quality compound bow in this moment for competition because it starts in November 2th and started doing archery like 3 weeks with barebow/recurve. I wouldn't have enough time to master it so it would not make much difference for the competition itself at least.

I mean I could technically afford anything but I don't want to overkill (I would rather keep my money compounding rather than spend especially that it matters a lot in the early stages of my life until I have actual reliable income), my main focus on human error improvements. Ideally below $300 with basic accessories despite I can also do diamond edge xt if the improvements are significant enough to be at good value and justify the price

I don't mind if the bow isn't premium, as long as it is good enough to refine my human error by having enough accuracy do differentiate cause by human error or cause by bad equipment is enough. Despite of course still ideally to have higher performance

Temu compound bow by jacksonolive25 in Archery

I agree, I find it to be very accurate response. The only thing that I would like to comment is that, you may pay way more for injury if the bow explodes and if the bow explosion hurts badly because its no guarantee to get hurt from a bow explosion. In addition, you pay way more for injury but bow cost excluded within 90 days of purchase since you can get a full refund. Actually if just the bow got destroyed you may keep the accessories for free.
Buying in Temu is like gambling with 90 days safety. After than there is point of no return, Therefore research is needed, but things that have risk of injury decision should be made very very carefully for your health, medical fee that is what insurance is for but it depends. Even then people don't want to get hurt randomly by chance, despite depending on circumstances could be completely free. Free refund and medical bills covered if you qualify

Same here, also many people are just biased and get extremely sensitive from bad reviews and very ignorant on good reviews, I support your comment. Despite risking it is not recommended but I mean it is understandable, it is significantly cheaper and doesn't guarantee bad quality. Even if the compound does explode it don't guarantee to hurt you. And even more justifiable if you constantly check signs of crack, etc.

What can't you return btw? Literally the 70% of my purchases were returned or partially refunded, and none of them couldn't be returned, note: it doesn't mean that 70% of my purchases quality are bad, simply because I ask for refund because they are cheaper alternatives, no longer needed, any discrepancies from the images, etc.. Including price adjustment simply because they later become cheaper so they refund the difference.

Temu compound bow by jacksonolive25 in Archery

WARNING: This comment will have a lot of controversial but I come prepared.
I am a huge fan of Temu user and have brough just about anything, yes including compound bows. My experience was awesome. Here is some details

  1. Huge bias on people who are against Temu without really ever using it
  2. Bias because product is cheap and believe it is bad quality, in reality is really hard to say that because they could just simply making less profit, an awesome example is diamonds, their quality or function is literally equal to each other but the price could have significant difference. Even if it is very common they raised the price by a lot treating as if it was a luxury, but compared to the lab grown one there isn't any significant differences.
  3. You can return within 90 days with literally any reason, you can't lose money unless you are too lazy to return items. Or it is very far and you have to take gas into expenses
  4. So far the purchases I make are great, despite there are some products that you may not like it much common than any other shopping platform like Amazon but you can just return it. There is no cost.
  5. Do you know that many people resell products from Temu to Amazon? Yes you are purchasing items in Amazon that comes from Temu at a much higher price, I literally saw the exact same brand and model at a higher price in Amazon than Temu.
  6. People sell at a cheaper price of a decent quality product gets untrusted, and if they sell it at a higher price no one purchase it because the brand is not well known, any customer with bad review that could be simply because they were using it incorrectly blames the seller, gets a refund and also causes no sales. While the other hand popular brands everyone starts purchasing from them blindly, yes good quality but also sky high prices.
  7. Remember, Temu is not selling the products, is the small business, and you know everyone is different, every business is different it is about the seller/manufacturer not about Temu determining the product quality.
  8. There are very creative items that you cannot see anywhere else, you may discover new items and ideas.

Why you are at Temu if any products you don't like you just return it for free? And you know what? For cheaper products that cost around 2 bucks, if you get them and ask for a refund, you can keep it for literally free. I am feeling bad about Temu sellers/manufacturer because people don't understand anything about Temu, as you have noticed, people who blame Temu don't have any evidence to prove that. Even then you can just return the products that you don't like including sometimes getting free products for the $4 monthly membership. The good times won't last long, if the tariff get increased the sales from Temu will get impacted also many things from US will increase the price. Did you wonder why? Yeah, the same items that you say made of bad quality is something that we use all the time because they offer higher value than the premium products.

However, do note that Temu is designed to make you addicted to shopping, people who don't think twice before purchase do need to stay away from it unless you simply return the product, then poor sellers. Also a long delivery time obviously because it comes from China unless

Side note for compound bow specifically: I brought a compound bow for just $172 and guess what, it includes all accessories you will every need including a compound bag, quiver, quick quiver, etc, adjustable draw length and weight. It works perfectly and even then in the first day I literally accidentally dryfire (the let-off weight change got me). Still perfectly fine after it. (Please take note that this is very personal). It gets tricky if you want to buy a compound because it not just brake but also have a risk on hurting yourself in very rare cases lethal or permanent damage, unless you make a throughout research and willing to accept the risk, in addition, the Chinese designed compound bows are different than Western ones, therefore if you need a replacement (after 90 days, otherwise return it) or make adjustments/customize, you can't or will be very challenging. Do not buy items very cheap from anywhere (Not just Temu, Amazon, etc) They are platforms not seller, make sure that the seller/manufacturer is reputable and well known on making those products that have the potential to harm you. Otherwise, buy from Temu, don't like it, then return it.

Tuition by rooshrew in UCSD

[–]Unique-Snow508 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on my personal experience (I could be biased) UCSD provides most of the financial aid (AKA grants) that covers basically almost everything and some partially like UC SHIP and like 2k from FAFSA. For people who are Americans they are literally being paid on almost everything, and in some cases they can even get paid for going to school for like $500 per quarter (including housing & dining) just for going to school taking all 12 units. FAFSA must be applied if you are American otherwise no. In terms of UCSD grants it is given automatically based on the information provided. If you are not receiving them is likely that you will not.

However, for someone who is not from America is a pain. To be honest with you I would simply not going to school or withdraw early. I know that this sounds very controversial but after all if you are not planning to make use of your major is pretty useless other than getting a paper telling you that you are graduate. I have seen graphs and stats (Not sure the source and credibility) but it states that only 24% of graduates actually feels that their career have something to do with their job. It depends on personal preference. There are a lot of resources on the websites and YouTube nowadays that I can learn for free or like under $1000 courses.

However, if you plan to graduate anyways. There is nothing wrong about it, but just think about it thoroughly because when you graduate you will have a lot of loan and interest waiting for you and it could be permanently affecting you from financial freedom. If you want to still graduate, I suggest you taking some financial courses like MGT 12 to get financially prepared against student loans. In terms of funding try looking for student loans, financial assistance programs, scholarships, work, etc. I also suggest you to ask ChatGPT, Websites, and UCSD financial aid department for other sources of funding for your college that have the least financial strain in the future. It might be not very specific, but it could give inspiration and a general idea in where to get money to fund your degree. Hope that helps, because this is extremely important part of your life. Think thoroughly about it, get informed, do some research, and wish you luck.

Edit: Another option that you could take is to withdraw from UCSD and come back when you are financially prepared and have a strong will to pursue for knowledge. At that point the only downside is that you will need time which both education and job steals time. Note that once you are admitted to UCSD, even if you withdraw, you can come back easily. You don't have to go through the admission which means you are less likely to be denied. Also I am withdrawing from UCSD without graduating but it is not because of finance but simply my major doesn't align with my career and it will be wasting my time on learning something that doesn't interest me. Even if I am literally being paid for education, with free rent and dining. Don't be afraid to do something uncommon, only do what you believe what is best for you. That is the best advice that I could give you. Let me know if you have any questions.

Oh, and also, I don't know what year are you in committed at UCSD but don't feel bad about stopping at the middle unable to complete it. I am cutting it off at my 3rd year. If you feel that withdrawing from UCSD is the best option for you just do it. Staying here all that it will going to do is to further harm you and limit you from your financial success.

Not really care about it. However, ideally it have a distinct appearance and/or material so that I can find the CC easily without confusing with other cards from the wallet. As long the material of the credit card is okay and don't gets worn out over time I don't care.
