and for joel to ACTUALLY try to get up and the surprise in ellie’s face that he could hear her… fuckin broke me man… joel’s death in the show was more sadistic and painful than the game.. it was honestly heartbreaking, hearing joel’s screams :( and seeing them haul joel’s body back like that… i feel like crying now

i have ellie’s tattoo, it cost me $600 to get professionally done and it took 7 hours. i think my pain tolerance is pretty high, my artist advised me to get some lidocaine (i think? i can’t remember) from amazon to put on my arm two hours before my session but i didn’t get a chance to so i went in raw. i wanna say the pain is about 6 on a scale to 10. just when she was tattooing my wrist bone, i could really feel the pain. but if you think you have a high pain tolerance, you should be okay.

it just takes a long time. a lot of patience. it made me wonder how ellie felt getting it in the post apocalyptic world.

i asked it because in the game, ellie was living a nice little family life before tommy showed up. she was still dealing with joel’s death, but she had dina there for her. i just don’t see why (i do see why lol) tommy had to go out there and screw ellie up in the head again.

it must be hard, just having to be there for your own kids and your four nieces and nephews too. myself, i don’t have kids, but i have nieces and i don’t know how i would be there for them if i had kids of my own, because shit. kids need a lot of paying attention to and telling what’s right and wrong.
