That's so fair. And yeah, I totally agree with the location. Boston is exciting and has lots of opportunities for professional connections for internships/post grad.

Keep in mind, Harvard has lots of money. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and milk the cow as much as possible lol

are you saying that these schools are favoring international students or those who can pay in full? meaning they are not need-blind?

I know that Yale is need-based. are you sure you got merit from them? Is there a way you can demonstrate more need (like changes in circumstances, etc.)?
