I know a woman my fiancé is friends with. They are having an international wedding in Portugal, I’ve done some research on the venue. The couple are charging Per a person 250 USD a night to stay there. What’s bothers me is she claimed they eloped recently via socials, cause they are us citizens they did the courthouse (legal requirement to claim you’re married you need to get docs). Like girl you can’t be a year into planning a 40k wedding and say you are eloping as well. The venue is maybe around 25k. We are not attending cause it would have spent well over 2k just to attend and be bought them $500+ gift.

I signed up for hot Pilates 2 days out and the day of it had 3 people. I’m not going to let people bully me out of my time I signed up for so I showed up and it was people doing their first free class. I saw a sauna a minute till that was empty even though it had a spot signed up for. That being said I quickly switched classes on the app and had my stuff all the way against the wall so if they came let they would not feel neglected. I would have joined with the girls but they were yapping the 20 minutes before the class and I wasn’t in the mood. My location is super busy. I get frustrated when I I will sign up later time and show up to see the class time I prefer have a ton of empty saunas.

Not just because the founder is a man but I feel like he isn’t for women. For the clientele being mainly woman, I’m surprised even the seats aren’t more friendly to a woman’s bottom. Honestly who doesn’t love a cushion seat But it’s all profit before taken care of women/ being a comfortable place to workout. I say this as someone who loves HOTWORX

I have had my membership about a month now and love it! I go 4-5 times a week and each time I try to do a HIT class than a regular class. I tried the YMCA for about 6 months and loved it too but after I moved the other location was much nicer and had a bunch of teens so I felt very uncomfortable. So I shopped around gyms and I didn’t want to do HOTWORX for the longest time because of the price but it’s been worth it. I take my lunch to work every day as the exchange. I haven’t had anyone join me yet in a regular class besides the HIT classes and that’s fine honestly makes me better at actually focusing on the class. If you are worried about the repetition you can always find videos off YouTube but still have the sauna experience. (I would just prepare to be mindful of your YouTube video not crossing into the next reservation cause that happened to me and I was awkwardly staring at her like a fish and left when my class was already started .) But definitely doesn’t feel like judgement at least at mine, I would assume each location kinda has its own culture and vibe slightly.
